Tonight, on the late three game slate we have the Connecticut Sun taking on the Seattle Storm. This will be the first of four matchups between the two this season. Make sure to check out the odds on the best sportsbooks out there.
Seattle is 9-6 this season and are 3rd in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a loss to the Fever on Tuesday night by 8 points. The Storm are 6-4 in their last 10 games and 5-3 at home this season.
This team has shown signs of greatness this season. They put up the third most points per game and have the best field goal and three-point percentages in the league. Seattle dishes the ball plenty, ranking 2nd in the league, but needs to work on rebounding where they rank in the bottom of the league.
Skylar Diggins is leading this team this season now that Jewell Loyd is gone. She is averaging 18.7 points and 6.1 assists per game, leading the team in both categories. Nneka Ogwumike is helping her lead the way with 17 points and 8 rebounds per game.
Connecticut needs to get a much-needed win tonight on the road

Sun center Tina Charles waits for the ball from the referee at the foul line.
The Sun are off to a terrible start this season. They’re 2-13 so far and last in the Eastern Conference. Connecticut comes into this game on a seven-game losing streak after taking a beating from the Aces on Wednesday night.
They are 2-8 in their last 10 games and 1-7 on the road. I’m not going to lie; this team is not good. Connecticut unloaded just about all their star players this offseason and only picked up Tina Charles to fill the many holes that Alyssa Thomas, DeWanna Bonner and Brionna Jones left.
Charles is the heart of this team, averaging 16 points and 5 rebounds per game. Marina Mabrey has had some good games and is averaging 15 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds per game. Other than these two, this team lacks depth big time. Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Jacy Sheldon have been contributing but they are not it.
Connecticut ranks last in the league for both offensive and defensive ratings. They barely force turnovers and commit too many per game. This will definitely be a big test for them tonight. Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

I know it’s a lot of points, but the Sun have just been horrible. They’re coming off a 26-point loss and also a 24-point loss the game prior. And personally, I think they have another beat down coming to them.
This is a perfect bounce back spot for the Storm at home after a loss. Diggins, Williams and Ogwumike should ball out tonight. I will go light on their props because I wouldn’t be surprised if their time gets limited at the end of the game due to a blowout.
The first prop I like is for Gabby Williams to record 13 or more points for -125. Williams has played great so far this season but fallen off the last few games. I think this is a great game for her to flex her play a little more and get her points. Her 15+ points for +150 is also a great look.
Seattle doesn’t rebound the ball well, so I have to go with Tina Charles to grab 6 or more rebounds for +112. She’s hit the mark in 2 of her last 3 games, missing in her last game. In her past, Charles has recorded the 6 or more in 4 of her last 5 games vs Seattle as well.
