I think this is kind of a must win game for the Sun if they want to stay in the top 3. Seattle and Las Vegas are creeping up on them. The Sun haven’t covered a spread in 4 games and are coming off a bad loss to the Fever by 4.

This is due for a big game, and this is perfect one to do so. It’s also a great bounce back spot for the Sun after losing. I think we see high offense from the Sun in this game. Expect Brionna Jones and DeWanna Bonner to be heavily involved.

For them to cover this spread, they will need Alyssa Thomas to find herself and get back to her normal form. Her production has fallen off as of late and they need her on the top of her game during these last 10 games and into the playoffs. I think we see her go back to her almost triple double numbers in this game to help them cover this spread.

For some props, I like Shakira Austin to get her rebounds. She has had 7+ rebounds in each of her last 4 games vs the Sun. I also like Marina Mabrey to get her assists, which should be around 4. It may be a little juiced, but we’re not afraid to pay the juice me around here.
