Chicago has lost their 1st two games of the season and were blown out in both. Losing by 35 and 25 points is not only a poor start, but not a good look. This team needed a lot of work in the off season and all they did was pick up Ariel Atkins and draft Hailey Van Lith.

Angel has also had a poor start to the season. She is 5 for 22 from the field, including going 0 for 8 in her last game. I know everyone loves her because she grabs a lot of boards (29 total in 2 games), but she is not showing she is a leader on this team.

If this team can get into a groove, they have a good chance this season. The Sparks ar currently 1-3 to start the season and on a 3-game losing streak. They started the season off with a nice win over Golden State but haven’t been able to figure it out since.

Bringing in Kelsey Plum is showing to be a great move. She has been leading this team on offense with the help of Dearica Hamby and Azura Stevens. On offense, the team is still missing Rickea Jackson and Cameron Brink, who will both be big contributors.

The Sparks need to play better defense. On average over the last 3 losses, they are allowing almost 80 ppg. In their win, they held the opposition to only 67 points. Tightening up this defense can very easily lead to contending better.

I’m going with the home team here after a bad loss to Golden State. The Sparks started the season off with a win but have been lost since. Granted, they are playing with a lot of new players, but they should’ve won that game.

With that being said, this is a great bounce back spot for the Sparks. Playing a struggling team with a low performing offense in front of the home crowd. This is also the perfect spot for them to break this 3-game losing streak.

The first player prop I like is Azura Stevens for 9 or more rebounds for -118. She has grabbed 10+ in her last 2 games. I also think she’ll be ready to grab Angel Reese misses, which will hinder Reese’s stats as well.

Which leads me to the next prop. We’re taking Angel Reese under 25.5 points and rebounds for -104. She hit this in her 1st game but didn’t even hit a basket last game. I think she’s going to get swarmed by Hamby and Stevens, which will bring her rebound total down as well as her continuing struggles to score.
