The Sky are 9-12 this year and are 3rd in the Eastern Conference. They are coming off a win yesterday vs the Dream where they won by 9 points. Angel Reese had her 14th straight double double – a league record.
Reese and company have grinded out their wins. Currently sitting in a playoff position, this is a good test for them. The Sky lead the league in rebounding (thanks to Reese) and are 4th in pace. Defensively
Both the Sky and Liberty are playing back-to-backs tonight. It’ll be interesting to see if either team is tired from yesterday. They shouldn’t be though, they both played day games yesterday.
New York looks for another W after big win on the road

New York is having themselves a year so far. They’re 18-4 on the year and 8-2 in their last 10 games. Coming off a big win vs the Sun yesterday, the Liberty will look to get another W.
The Liberty have one of the best offenses in the league. They’re 2nd in the league for points per game and field goal percentage. Having the best offensive rating in the league isn’t too shabby either. New York is 2nd in rebounding, right behind the Sky.
Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu are both coming off big games and will look to carry the momentum. Stewart had 18 points and 14 boards and Ionescu had 21 points, 5 boards and 5 dimes. If they’re both heating up, the league better watch out.
Defensively, the Liberty and the Sky matchup evenly. They’re both neck in neck when it comes to defensive rating and turnovers. It should be a hard-fought battle tonight, so let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

New York is an absolute powerhouse, so it’s going to be a tough task for the Sky to pull off a win. On the other hand, the gambling side of me says 11 is too many points.
Chicago has really shown they can play ball. Coming off the back-to-back, I see them more as oiled then tired. The game ended in the mid-day and the flight is not that long.
Again, 11 is a lot of points and I think too much. The Sky just have to contend to cover this spread and they should without a problem. Both teams are in the same situation, so I think we see a competitive matchup.
Give me the Sky +11 at -108 and I’m also going to take Angel Reese rebounds for over 12.5 rebounds priced at +106. There will be plenty of boards to grab and she’s going to have another big game.
