Chicago is 9-14 this season and 4th in the Eastern Conference. They come in on a 2-game losing streak and are 5-5 on their last 10 games. The Sky are also 5-6 on the road this year.
Rookie Angel Reese has become the leader on this team. Her streak for most consecutive double doubles just ended last game at 15 games. Reese is averaging 13.5 points and 12 rebounds per game.
Chennedy Carter started the year coming off the bench and now is big piece of this offense. She’s averaging 16.4 points per game and has started 11 games this season. Reese’s fellow rookie Kamilla Cardoso is contributing 8 rebounds per game herself.
On defense, the Sky aren’t half bad. They are 5th in defensive rating, 3rd in steals, and 1st in rebounds. They also protect the ball well and only turn the ball over 4th least in the league.

Chicago covered this game in their 1st matchup and have hit a skid since. They’re coming off those back-to-back loses to the Liberty, so it’s not a bounce back spot for them.
Now when I say bounce back, let’s not get it twisted. The Aces are winning this game, but 13.5 points is a lot. If Reese can actually shoot better, they can be that much more of a threat. We all know she can clean the glass and will contend with A’ja Wilson for boards.
I like Wilson to get her points – the line should be around 27-28 points. She had 31 points and 6 rebounds in the previous game they played. In that game, Reese did not get her boards, ending with only 11.
Chennedy Carter over her points line is a good look and Marina Mabrey for 3+ 3-pointers is another good one. We’re going to take all those points for this game though.
