Rookies Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron have been outstanding to start the year. Iriafen is averaging 13 points and 9 rebounds per game which Citron is averaging 15 points and 5 rebounds.

This will be the second time this two face each other. The Mystics won the first meeting at home by a final score of 91-88. The over is this game is most definitely a good look.

Dallas is 4-13 this season and last in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a loss to the Fever last night. The Wings are 3-7 in their last 10 games and 2-6 at home this year.

Rookie star Paige Bueckers continues to cook. She had 27 points and 6 assists in last night’s loss. Bueckers is averaging 18.4 points, 5.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game so far. She has been carrying this team with the spotty play of her teammates.

Guard Arike Ogunbowale has been very hit or miss this season. Her volume on offense continues to be there, but she has had some terrible shooting performances. Newcomer DiJonai Carrington has made herself at home and a starter in Dallas in her first year here. She will be out tonight with a rib injury.

This is going to be a tough game for the Wings being the second game of a back-to-back and Washington has been cooking as well, Dallas will need to come correct tonight. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Mystics vs Wings picks.

I think we see a lot of points today like the first game. Mystics guard Brittney Sykes is currently questionable but wasn’t really a factor last game. All eyes will be on the three rookies yet again.

Sonia Citron had her career high 27 points vs the Wings. Kiki Iriafen also produced with 26 points and rebounds combined. The newest weapon for the Mystics has been Shakira Austin, who has made her way back to the starting lineup, put up 21 points and grabbed 7 boards.

The Wings will need Ogunbowale to cook like last game. She has 27 points while going eight for twenty from the field. Bueckers put up 20 points as well, so with all these factors and two teams with bad defenses – we’re taking the over. Last game they totaled 179 points with overtime and cleared the line in regulation.

I like for Shakira Austin to get 15 or more points for -118. She has been playing unreal, hitting this mark in her last three out of four games. Other than newly added Li Yueru, the Wings don’t really have anyone down low to guard Austin with Carrington out.

The other play I’m going with is for my girl to get her points. Give me Paige to record 18 or more points for -108. She’s coming off a great game last night where she put up 27 points and has hit this line in four out of her last five games. I don’t see her slowing down at all.
