During their six-game losing streak, only one game did the Mystics keep the game close. They could really play spoiler to the Sparks tonight, who are fighting for their lives to make the playoffs.

Los Angeles needs to snap two game skid and get a much-needed win

Los Angeles is 17-20 this season and fighting for the last playoff spot. They come into this game on a two-game losing streak that they need to break. The Sparks are 5-5 in their last ten games and only 7-12 at home this season.

Playing at home has been a challenge for the Sparks. For whatever reason, they are more comfortable on the road. They just dropped a one-point game to Indy in their building too. If they want to have playoff success, assuming they make it, they need to play good at home.

Kelsey Plum has come in and lead this team as expected. She leads the team with 20 points and 6 assists per game. Her cast of Dearica Hamby, Rickea Jackson and Azura Stevens have been dangerous at times. Can’t forget the return of Cameron Brink, who by next year should be a real threat.

Seems weird, but I feel like a lot of these teams compete after getting blown out. That’s what I’m feeling here – I think the Mystics compete in this game and keep it relatively close. Winning the game outright, not sure, but it should be a close one.

LA’s struggles at home should also play a factor. They really need this win, so I’d like to think they have what it takes to get it done vs. a team that they are better than and that just beat them two weeks ago. It’s do or die for LA being out of the eighth spot by two games with seven games left.

Give Kiki Iriafen to record 13 or more points for -118 value. Iriafen is coming off a miss and has hit and missed over her last four games. Based on that pattern, she is due for a bounce back. She also had 18 points in their last matchup and 13 points in the game back in July.

The other play is juicy, but we’re going to roll with it again. Rickea Jackson for 2 or more three pointers made for -166. She has hit in ten games straight and in her last three out of four games vs. the Mystics, including the last two this year. Washington is ranked 13th vs. the forward position as well.
