We have two huge players in the league taking the court tonight. The Minnesota Lynx will take on the Las Vegas Aces at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. Last week these two met and it didn’t end well for the Aces, losing by 31 points.
Minnesota is 23-5 this season and have the best record in the WNBA. They come into this game off a win over the New York Liberty on Wednesday. The Lynx are 7-3 in their last ten games and are 8-4 on the road.
Napheesa Collier is continuing to kill it. She’s coming off a 30-point game vs the Liberty which also including 9 rebounds. Collier has taken over the league this year. She’s averaging 23.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, leading the league in scoring.
The team continues to be strong all around with Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams being the biggest two to support Collier. Alanna Smith and Natisha Hiedemen are also playing good as well.

Las Vegas will try to get their third win in a row vs Minnesota

Aces center A’ja Wilson pushes through to get a layup off while heavily guarded.
The Aces are 14-13 this year and 4th in the Western Conference. They come into this game on a two-game winning streak. Las Vegas is 6-4 in their last ten games and are 7-4 at home this season.
Vegas just had a nice 15-point win over the Sparks on Tuesday night. A’ja Wilson went off for 34 points and 10 rebounds. The Aces played great by forcing turnovers and limiting second chance points.
A’ja will need to bring the big game again. She played in that blow out a week ago and they looked terrible. Las Vegas plays better at home with less losses at home than on the road. It will be a tough task to slow down the Lynx.
The team has been supporting each other well with contributions coming from Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray. Jewell Loyd has been absolutely lost this season, and she lost her starting spot as a result. She still played 24 minutes last game and only had 8 points.

It should be a good game, and I think closer than last. Question will be if the Aces can keep it close all game or not. In this case, I think the Lynx win this game and will cover that six points towards the end of that game.
It should be close most of the game and then I see the Lynx pulling away at the end. They’re playing great basketball right now and are the number one rated team in both offensive and defensive rating. Minnesota plays a complete game from start to finish.
I have to go with Collier here and for her to get 23 or more points at -114. She had 25 points vs. the Aces last week and has hit her points line in her last three games. Phee is having an MVP season, and I think this will be another game where she goes off.
The other play I’m taking is Jackie Young to get 2 or more three pointers for -122. She’s hit in her last three games and in her last three out of four vs. Minnesota. Young hit the line for 2 last week as well.
