On offense and defense, the New York plays a complete game all around. They have the best offensive rating in the league this year and are 3rd in defensive rating. After playing the Wings the other night, the Liberty will be more prepared.

It has been a long season for the Wings. They missed Satou Sabally for 24 games this season and it was a big blow to the offense. This team used to be a powerhouse, and the weird part is, they have the same team.
With Sabally back, it has opened up lanes for players like Natasha Howard who had 21 points last game. Arike Ogunbowale went off 23 points herself, but neither was enough.
Their biggest problem is on defense. The Wings rank last in the league for defensive ranking, and it is killing them. Dallas also doesn’t protect the ball well, ranking 3rd in turnovers per game.

The other night was all New York, and I don’t think we see anything different. The Liberty are in full gear and have their minds set on winning the championship. The Wings aren’t going to stop them.
I expect Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu to have repeat performances. Both ladies had double digit point totals and Ionescu with a double double, recording 14 points and 11 assists.
It’s going to be hard for the Wings to stop the Liberty. Even with Arike scoring 23 points last game, it still wasn’t enough. They will need Satou Sabally to score more and Teaira McCowan also needs to grab more boards.
I like for Breanna Stewart to score 25+ points in this one. I also like Sabrina Ionescu for 3+ 3 pointers made. Both are just coming off great shooting performances and I expect we see it again.
