WNBA: Aces vs. Mercury Game 4 Picks and Odds | October 10, 2025

Chelsea Gray and Alyssa Thomas

What could be the last WNBA scribble of the season is upon us. The Phoenix Mercury will play for their life tonight down 3-0 vs. the Las Vegas Aces. This series could easily be 2-1 Phoenix, but that has not been the case.

Game 1 ended with Alyssa Thomas missing two big free throws that would’ve gave the Mercury the lead with less than thirty seconds left. Then, they lose Game 3 at the buzzer after missing a shot to take the lead seconds before.

It’s been a close series despite Game 2’s 12-point win by the Aces. Phoenix just hasn’t been able to get the job done and now their season is on the line. They went from favored in Game 3 to know underdogs in Game 4. Naturally though as Las Vegas is playing to finish the series.

The Mercury will be without star forward Satou Sabally. Sabally sustained a concussion and will not be available tonight. This is a huge blow to Phoenix’s offense and puts more weight on Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper. DeWanna Bonner will need to step up in Sabally’s absence.

Vegas looks to close out and sweep the Mercury tonight

Alyssa Thomas and A'ja Wilson

Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas is defended by Aces center A’ja Wilson.

The Aces ended this season incredibly. It was unreal the run they had winning 16 games straight to secure the second seed in the playoffs. Vegas had a rough start, but are showing hard work pays off as they are one game away from glory.

It’ll be the 3rd time in 4 years that they would be champs. Ever since they went on that run and A’ja won MVP, they’ve been the clear favorite to win it all. A’ja had 34 points and 14 rebounds last game while Jackie Young had another big game with 21 points and 9 assists.

The big guns on the team got it done in Game 3, but we’ve seen the bench help out as well. If they can play another complete game and hold the Mercury off, they will be crowned champs once again.

Phoenix will not go down easy and we’re going to have a great battle on our hands. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Mercury picks.

I unfortunately think this is the last WNBA scribbles of the season. The Aces are going to march their way to victory tonight. Covering the 3 points shouldn’t be a problem, especially with Sabally out.

A’ja Wilson has been playing basketball on a whole different level than her peers. This game is huge for her career and her legacy as she’ll probably add another Finals MVP to her resume. Wilson is so young and already one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Wilson is a great look for tonight. Her 26 or more points at -114 is great value and I think absolutely doable. The 30 or more points for +230 is ridiculously attractive as she’s cleared it in three of her last five games.

The other player I like is Jackie Young to get 18 or more points for -113. I don’t know why this line hasn’t moved based on her latest games. She has hit the line in five of her last six games, all being playoff games. Young has been the #2 on this team and she’s going to produce to win that chip.
