On the second day of a back-to-back, Minnesota heads out to LA to take on the Sparks. This will be the second time these two teams faced off in the last two and a half weeks. The Lynx took the first game by a final score of 82-66.
The Lynx are 17-3 this season and the best team in the league. They come into this game off a loss yesterday to the Mercury by eight points. Minnesota is 8-2 in their last 10 games and 6-3 on this road this season.
Yesterday’s loss was a bit of a surprise considering Phoenix was missing two of their best players. Alyssa Thomas went insane and put the team on her back with 29 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. The Lynx will look to bounce back today against a struggling LA team.
Napheesa Collier had 18 points and seven rebounds yesterday, while Courtney Williams had 21 points, six boards, and six assists. They needed one more player to step up to take this game, but just didn’t have it. Expect them to come out ready at Crypto.com Arena.

Los Angeles coming in with rest to try and win 2 in a row

Sparks Dearica Hamby is heavily guarded by Lynx forward Alanna Smith.
Los Angeles is 6-13 this year and are sixth in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a big win over the Fever on Saturday. The Sparks are 3-7 in their last 10 games and 1-7 at home this season.
This team has been all over the place this year. Sneaking out wins in games they should lose and losing the games they should win. Guard Kelsey Plum leads the team with 20 points and 5.6 assists per game. Dearica Hamby is having herself a year as well with 17 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Azura Stevens has been great this year to really add to this team. She can score, shoot the three, and grab boards. Stevens is averaging 15 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. It’ll be interesting to see how the team changes when Cameron Brink returns.
The Sparks are going to have their hands full today. Stopping a Lynx team that will be hungry for a win after yesterday is going to be hard to contain. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Lynx vs. Sparks picks.

I love a good bounce-back spot and this is a perfect one for the Lynx. After yesterday’s loss in a game they probably should’ve won, they will come back fired up. Give me the Lynx to cover the 6.5 points and get the win.
Minnesota is obviously the better team here. Whether it’s on offense or defense, the Lynx outmatch the Sparks up and down. It’s going to be tough for LA to keep up with the Lynx as well. Even though the Lynx just lost, they didn’t look terrible in that game.
I like for Collier to have a big game. She’s recorded her points line of 18 or more in her last four games and her last six out of seven games. In the game earlier this season, she racked up 32 points. I’m going with the big dog here.
The other play I like is for Courtney Williams to record 15 or more points. Williams has hit her line in her last three games and has been shooting a lot. She had 18 points in the game earlier this year as well. I think the Lynx win this by double-digits, so give me their players to get buckets.
