This will be the home opener for the Liberty, so we can expect the crowd to be rocking. The team is so stacked too, so the crowd is extremely excited for this season. I know I am!
Bringing back all the big pieces that were acquired last year was huge. Keeping the core of Ionescu, Stewart, Jones, and Vandersloot will most likely get them back to the finals come the end of the season.

NaLyssa Smith was completely shut down by the Liberty last game and they’re going to need her to get free. She was held to only 5 points and 4 rebounds. Aliyah Boston is another one who hasn’t found their stride.
It’s going to take a lot for this Fever team to beat the Liberty. All the picks across the board will favor the Liberty, as the sportsbook already are and as they should.

Well, after what we saw last game and the Fever’s 1st game, we learned they’re not ready. I expect to see a lot of what we saw on Thursday night this afternoon.
There was no way the Fever were able to make enough adjustments to be able to get a win. The fact that it’s the Liberty’s home opener just makes it worse.
If Clark can finally find her stride and shoot better, they stand a better chance. But this Liberty offense is stacked, and they have no answers for it on defense.
Give me the Liberty and all those points. This should be an easy one for them and another game for them to cook. I really like Breanna Stewart again to have 20+ points and Jonquel Jones to grab 10 rebounds.
