For this game, I will be staying away from taking a side. However, my play definitely aligns with a particular outcome. We will be backing the under in this one. The last time these two teams clashed was on May 25th, when the Lynx dominated the Liberty 84-67. The total closed at 167 and went under by a staggering 16 points.

The revenge spot for New York is one of the main reasons I am staying away from a side. I do not think the Liberty run a quicker tempo in this game enough to take Minnesota out of their comfort zone. New York is fifth in tempo, while Minnesota has the second slowest in the league. It will be interesting to see the number one defense again face off against the number one offense the second time around. Which side will prevail? I will always side with an elite defense.
With the total continuing to climb, I suggest waiting until tip-off or keeping an eye on it throughout the day. I would not be surprised if it goes up to 166.
