The Sparks are red hot and it’s a coming back party at home. The Las Vegas Aces will take on the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arean and the Sparks will be welcoming back their #2 pick from last year’s draft, Cameron Brink. The last time these two teams met, the Sparks took the game by eight points.
The Aces are 13-13 this season and 4th in the Western Conference. To some they are a big surprise with a .500 record, but they’ve had their struggles. Las Vegas comes into this game off a nice twenty-six-point win over the Wings. This team is 5-5 in their last ten games and 6-9 on the road so far.
A’ja Wilson is quietly putting up MVP numbers per usual. She’s averaging 22 points and 9 rebounds per game as well as 1.6 steals and 2.4 blocks per game. The reigning MVP has been in the shadows of Napheesa Collier’s MVP bid, but let’s not forget A’ja.
This team acquired Jewell Loyd in a three-team trade that sent star guard Kelsey Plum to the Sparks. As of right now, this trade has been terrible for the Aces as Loyd has been nowhere to be found. She came off the bench for the first time this season last game after contributing zero points the game before.

Plum and co. look to make it 6 in a row back on home court

Los Angeles Sparks center Cameron Brink is slated to make her return tonight vs. the Aces.
The Sparks are 11-14 this season and 6th in the West. They’re on a five-game winning streak after a big win over the Liberty on Saturday. Los Angeles is 7-3 in their last 10 games and are a not so good 3-8 at home.
This team is red hot, scoring 90+ points in their last five games and 100+ in their last two games. LA is seeing things perfectly and things could be getting better. Last year’s #2 pick Cameron Brink will make her season debut, returning from an ACL tear that ruined her rookie season.
Kelsey Plum will look to haunt her former team once again. Last game, she had 13 points and 9 assists vs. the Aces. Her shooting game was off that game too, so if she comes with her shot – Vegas has their hands full.
Expect Dearica Hamby and Azura Stevens to be all over A’ja Wilson. Both Hamby and Stevens had 19 points and 8+ rebounds last game while holding Wilson to 13 points and 8 rebounds. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Sparks picks.

This is a really close spread and I can get why. Las Vegas should win this game and even possibly with ease, but then on the other hand – how is a team on a five-game winning streak a dog? If the Sparks played well at home, they’d be favored.
I think we see a really close, high scoring game. Both teams will be fully staffed and ready to play. I think the Sparks have a great chance to win this game if they can kick losing games at home. Since I’m not sure, we’ll take the two points and -110.
Give me Rickea Jackson to get 14 or more points for +105. She has cleared the line in six of her seven last games. Her last three games that cleared, she scored 22+ points. Jackson has also hit her points line in her last four games vs the Aces.
The other play I like is Kelsey Plum to hit 3 or more three points for +104. This line at plus money vs. her old squad is insane. We’re taking full advantage of this because Plum’s a shooter and shooters gon’ shoot!
