Tottenham lost their last meeting at home to Aston Villa, 2-1. Prior to that, they had to battle just to earn a point in a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton. The point is, the Spurs should be ready to go in front of their home town fans. Now, I don’t hate the under 2.75, but as I’ve discussed in prior articles, we would need two goals or less in order to profit. A third in the back of the net would give us a loss and a push, walking away a slight loser.

I would much rather back the hosts’ back line to hang tough at home.

Chelsea are still without Cole Palmer and Liam Delap, and even though the other players are producing, the offense certainly takes a hit. They have struggled on the road this season, losing to Manchester United at Old Trafford, 2-1, and dropping a game to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, 3-1 at Allianz Arena. This match could be a wake up call, and I don’t see the offense producing like they have been.

Give me Tottenham to hold the Blues under 1.5 total goals, where we likely see a 1-1 draw.
