Norway vs. Italy 2025 Women’s EURO Betting Odds

Arianna Caruso leads Italy with nine shots in the 2025 EURO
All four group winners in the Women’s EURO won all three matches, earning nine points. Norway was one of those teams (along with Spain, Sweden, and France). Norway beat Switzerland to open the tournament, after falling down 1-0 just 30 minutes into the match. The Norwegians rallied for two more goals to earn three points. Next up was Finland, and Norway was victorious again, 2-1, but needed an 84′ minute winner to get the W. Lastly, they faced Iceland, winning 4-3, but giving up a stoppage time penalty for Iceland to get back within one.
Norway will be missing defender Marit Bratberg Lund, who started the first two matches, and subbed on last contest, earning a red card very late.
As for the Italians, they finished second in their group. Italy beat Belgium, drew with Portugal after allowing an 89′ minute equalizer, and then lost to Spain, who is the clear favorite to win this competition. The Italians only netted three goals in group stage, but it was enough to get themselves into the next round.
Now the two go head-to-head in Switzerland, with a spot at the 2025 Women’s EURO Semifinals on the line.

Looking at the current world rankings, Italy is No. 13 while Norway is No. 16. Fairly equal competition in my eyes, but one could argue that Italy is more battle tested. They faced Spain (No. 2), Belgium (No. 20), and Portugal (No. 22), while Norway battled Switzerland (No. 23), Finland (No. 26), and Iceland (No. 14).
That contest against the second-ranked team in the world could help them come to play today.

Frida Maanum has two goals for Norway in the EURO
Best Bet: Norway to Advance (+108) BetOnline
Despite advancing in their group, Italy has been less than impressive in my eyes. Not only are they not scoring goals, but they gave up leads to both Portugal and Spain, showing they struggle to close out matches.
Norway’s offense has been exploding recently, and even missing one of their defenders, I expect them to make up for it on the offensive side. The Norwegians want to turn this game into a shootout, the Italians do not.
Vegas already expects a low-scoring match, given the total priced where it is. I also think we see a low-scoring affair, but I do think Norway finds a way to break through. Whether that be in regulation time, or in penalties, I’ll back Norway to advance.
This team has been here before, making the semifinals four straight tournaments from 2001 to 2013, but they have not been back there since. As for Italy, they have not made it to the semifinals since 1997. This is only their third time making it out of the group stage since 2001.
Give me Norway to keep on dancing in this year’s Women’s EURO.
Prediction: Norway Wins 1-0 (+800)
