National Women’s Soccer League: Saturday’s Predictions
Utah Royals vs. Seattle Reign: NWSL Best Bets

Jordyn Huitema has started eight games for the Reign this season
Best Bet: Utah/Seattle Under 2.5 (-115) Bovada
We are taking the under as these two teams battle in Utah tonight. The Royals have allowed 25 goals in 12 matches, which ranks No. 13 in the league, giving up over two goals per contest. The Reign aren’t a team that finds the back of the net a ton, but they are very sound defensively and know they can earn three points with a win tonight.
They’ve shown up on the road this year going unbeaten in their last four away from home, scoring six total goals during that stretch. Utah has been involved in some high scoring affairs recently, so I expect them to come focused on the defensive side of things against a less aggressive opponent.
I certainly lean with the Reign on the ML at (+130) and on the Draw No Bet line at (-140), but regardless I think this stays under 2.5 total goals to cash our bet. The Reign know that solid, sound soccer will earn them the win tonight, and that’s how they should come to play.
Prediction: Seattle Wins 1-0 (+700)
Portland Thorns vs. Chicago Red Stars: NWSL Best Bets

Reilyn Turner lead the Thorns with four goals this season
Best Bets: Portland Thorns -1.5 (+105) Bovada
This is a revenge spot at home for the Thorns. They last faced Chicago in Portland last season, where the Red Stars pulled off the 1-0 upset. This season has been a different story.
The Red Stars are No. 13 on the NWSL Table currently with just six points. They’ve won only once this season, and are dead last in scoring on both sides of the ball, netting only 10 goals and allowing 26.
Portland is 3-1-1 in their last five NWSL matches, and have pitched two straight shutouts at home. Against a team that has trouble scoring and keeping the ball out of their own net, I trust Portland to show up very aggressive, ready to lay the hammer down against the Red Stars.
Give me the Thorns to win this game in dominant fashion at home.
Prediction: Portland Wins 3-0 (+700)
