Major League Soccer: Saturday’s Predictions July 5
Charlotte FC vs. Orlando City: MLS Picks

Back Orlando City tonight on the road against Charlotte
Best Bet: Orlando City ML (+128) BetOnline
We aren’t going to overthink this one, we are simply backing the better team. Orlando already beat Charlotte on May 14, by a score of 3-1 at home. Charlotte has lost three straight, four of their last five, and two of their last three at home.
The hosts are also missing leading goal scorer, Patrick Agyemang, who is on international duty with the US preparing for the Gold Cup Final on Sunday. This certainly hinders Charlotte’s attack, which struggles to score anyways.
As for Orlando, they are the second highest scoring offense in the Eastern Conference. They’ve won their last two on the road, and I see them handling business against an inferior opponent tonight. Give me Orlando to add three easy points on the road.
Prediction: Orlando City Wins 2-0 (+1200)
San Diego FC vs. Houston Dyanmo: MLS Picks

Anders Dreyer leads San Diego with nine goals this season
Best Bet: San Diego FC -1 (-104) BetOnline
We are betting with some push potential here, as San Diego FC host the Houston Dynamo. San Diego might be the most feared team in the MLS, having won four straight matches and netting a league leading 41 goals. Not only that, but they also lead the league in goal differential as well at +16.
Houston is not ready to go to war in San Diego. The Dynamo have allowed 31 goals in their 20 matches, losing their last road match to Minnesota, 3-1. Houston has struggled on the West coast this season, drawing with Seattle and the LA Galaxy, while losing to Portland and LAFC. Things could continue as they head that direction this evening.
Against a very tough opponent tonight, I don’t see them putting up much of a fight. San Diego is in prime form in their first MLS season, and I think they dominate in front of their home crowd.
Prediction: San Diego FC Win 2-0 (+675)
