The English Premier League is back and I’m so here for it. So excited to getting back to waking up early on the weekends to watch some footy. We should have another great season in front of us.
Week 1 is kicking off with a Friday afternoon game. Manchester United will take on Fulham at home to start their season. Both teams are returning similar teams from last season. Each team had their own struggles as well.
Manchester United ended the season 8th in the table. They had a very up and down season last year. There were no major winning streaks or losing streaks, they just couldn’t keep winning.
United will be returning guys like Burno Fernandes, Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford. A player to keep your eye on is Alejandro Garnacho and this kid can play.
Rashford wasn’t the same player last season as he was the year prior, so it will be interesting to see if he gets back to form. It’s a tough league to be in, but they’ve proved they belong. Let’s see how they perform this year.

Fulham didn’t have the best season last year. They finished in the 13th spot with only 47 points. The team is returning 3 of its best players from last season. Rodrigo Muniz led the team in scoring last season with 9 goals and will look to keep the scoring going this season.
Alex Iwobi will be returning this year after scoring 5 goals last season. Raul Jimenez had a good year last season, putting up 7 goals. Even though these guys found the back of the net, they need to do more this season.
It’s going to be a tough task for Fulham to get to the top of the table, but all it takes is getting hot to get in the thick of things. Let’s check out the odds for this game and get into the picks.

I like Man U at home for this game. To open the season, this is a great game to get off on the right foot. The home crowd will be going wild as they finally get their team back on the pitch.
United should come out screaming and looking to get on the board first and early. Garnacho and Rashford will be shooting the ball given the opportunity. I also like Bruno Fernandes to be in the mix on the offensive side.
If they can get out to that earlier lead, they should take this game. With the way I think Garnacho is going to play, we’re going to take him for 1 shot on target and Man U to win. Not an official play, but this could be a 2.0 final.
