Sure, Dortmund’s offense has been very potent so far this season, especially in their three UCL matches. But Manchester City’s back line will be arguably the hardest they’ve seen all season long, besides only managing one shot on target against Munich. I think there’s plenty of good options to back City in this match, but I decided to go with the spread. You could take their ML and Haaland to score at -114, Man City ML and Under 4.5 at -104, or City 1H ML and FG ML at +110. The point is, I see the hosts getting the job done. They’ve been on fire, and I have very little faith in Dortmund’s back line.

Their toughest opponent yet this season was Bayern Munich, whom they lost to on the road. Munich controlled 61% of the ball, outshooting their foes 15-8 overall and 7-1 on target. Bayern took a one goal lead 22 minutes into the match and extended it in the 78′ before Dortmund found one to make the score not as bad. Against Manchester City, I don’t see anything changing.

Earlier in the UCL on the road in Italy, Dortmund led Juventus 4-2 after an 86′ minute penalty kick. They proceeded to allow not one, but two stoppage time goals to only earn a draw. City are deep, they have Erling Haaland up top, and I see them showing no mercy at home against Dortmund.
