Now Leeds are back in the Premier League for this season, hoping to avoid relegation for more than a year, something they were unsuccessful with last time.

Clearly, based off the odds, we are going to see a low scoring affair. Sure, Leeds tore up the Championship last season, but in the 2022-2023 EPL season, they finished No. 19, going 7-10-21, scoring just 48 goals while allowing a league worst, 78.
Leeds will surely be focused on defense this entire season, but definitely in this opening match. Ultimately, I agree with the books and think this match will stay low scoring, which is why were are taking the under.

Look, I am paying some incredible juice here for this under 2.5. If you would rather, you can take under 2.25 for (-109), but risk losing and pushing (for a small loss) if these teams combined for two goals.
I see this being completely scoreless to be honest with you, which is why I am comfortable paying this price.
Leeds get to start their new season at home, against a team that isn’t very feared in the league. This is a great match for them to work out all of their kinks, really gel as a team, and make sure they are in good form going forward in the season. Leeds is not going to come out screaming, trying to net six goals in the first few minutes.
They will respect what Everton brings to the table, try to control possession for most of this match, and maybe break out for a winner late in this one. Overall, I think we see a boring game, which is what the hosts would prefer, in order to cash our under 2.5.
I see this being a 1-0 match either way, if we don’t see a scoreless draw. I’ll back Leeds on the correct score this time, but Everton 1-0 is +800, meaning you could sprinkle on both and come out on top if we see that final on the scoreboard.
