As for Vancouver, they finished second in the West, beating No. 7 FC Dallas, No. 3 LAFC, and top seeded San Diego FC to make the final. Who will win it all this weekend? Inter Miami vs. Vancouver Whitecaps MLS Betting Insights

Luis Suarez and Inter Miami face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS Cup this Saturday
The MLS got their wish. Their new golden boy, Lionel Messi, made it to the league final. We’ve already seen some questionable things happen in favor of this Inter Miami team, specifically in the Leagues Cup Quarterfinals, but regardless, here they are. Miami was the highest scoring team in the MLS by far this season, netting 81 goals in their 34 regular season matches. The next highest scoring team where the Chicago Fire with 68 goals scored.
Defensively, they weren’t anything special, and that’s where Vancouver certainly has the advantage. Plus, adding Thomas Müller gives them some legendary experience in this tough match. Will that be enough to get them over the hump?
They did not meet during the regular season, but they played twice in April in the Concacaf Champions Cup. The Whitecaps were victorious in both legs of their series, winning 2-0 at home and then 3-1 in Miami to seal their spot in the Champions Cup Final (which they lost to Cruz Azul, 5-0). Will they redeem themselves in the MLS Cup Final this weekend?

Inter Miami vs. Vancouver Whitecaps MLS Picks and Predictions

Can Brian White and Vancouver cap off a miraculous season with a big win?
Best Bet: Vancouver Whitecaps or Draw Double Chance (+110) BetOnline
I have been on the Whitecaps to lift the cup for a while now. And I still believe in them. They are capable of earning a draw against Inter Miami in the first 90 minutes of this match, which would cash our bet. As long as this goes to extra time, we will win.
However, I do worry. Because the MLS will likely do anything in their power to make sure Messi is lifting the trophy at the end of this match. But I can’t find any value to back them to do so. I don’t think -124 is enough for me to take them to win in regulation time, and I certainly don’t want to back them to win by more than one.
Vancouver has one of the best defenses in the league. They led the Western Conference with 38 goals allowed this season, which was second in the entire MLS. The Whitecaps have allowed just four goals in four matches this postseason, netting nine of their own. They are playing well, but this won’t come easy. I have faith that they will hold strong in regulation and earn this draw, perhaps even pulling out a win.
Vancouver has been my pick to win the MLS Cup since the playoffs began, and I won’t back down now.
Prediction: Vancouver Whitecaps Win 2-1 (+1400)
