These defenses have been two of the best in this entire tournament, and I don’t see that stopping today. Thiago Silva patrols the backline for Fluminense, something he did for Chelsea for years. He should have his squad in tip-top shape, ready to show they can compete with anyone.
While Fluminense have only played Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan as far as “top competition” goes this tournament, they didn’t concede a goal to either. Defense will be the reason Fluminense finds a way to pull off this win.
