Four teams have already punched their ticket to the Round of 16 in the FIFA Club World Cup. Congrats to Palmeiras and Paris-Saint Germain who both topped their group, while Inter Miami and Botafogo also moved on.
Let’s get into our best bets on the pitch today.
FIFA Club World Cup: Tuesday’s Predictions June 24
Group C Analysis
Bayern Munich faces Benfica as they lead the Portuguese team by two points. A draw ensures both move on, with Munich topping the group with that result. However, Benfica could jump the Germans by beating them today. Boca Juniors need a huge win today against Auckland City AND would need Benfica to lose as well to have a shot at moving on. And by big win, I mean roughly a five or six-goal victory.
Group D Analysis
Flamengo has already wrapped up the top spot in Group D, and they face LAFC who has no shot at moving on. Motivation could be questionable in that match. However, Chelsea face Esperance Sportive de Tunis, with the winner likely moving on. Chelsea leads on goal differential, so a draw would mean the Blues advance.
Bayern Munich vs. Benfica: Club World Cup Best Bets

Jamal Musiala and Bayern need a point to stay on top of the group
Best Bet: Bayern ML/BTTS (+230) BetOnline
In my opinion, this is the best bang for your buck. I expect Benfica to be aggressive, but Munich will do whatever it takes to at least earn a point and stay on top of the table.
Both teams had huge wins against Auckland City, while Benfica played Boca Juniors to a 2-2 draw. The Germans came out on top 2-1 when facing the Argentine side, conceding a late goal after leading 2-0 very early in the match.
Bayern Munich is still a European powerhouse, and I think that shows today against Benfica.
Prediction: Bayern Wins 2-1 (+675)
Esperance Sportive de Tunis vs. Chelsea: Club World Cup Best Bets

Chelsea need a point today in order to advance in the FIFA Club World Cup
Best Bet: Under 3 (-122) BetOnline
We’re backing the under in this match, as I don’t expect much excitement. Chelsea is certainly the better team, but they don’t need a win. They are up on goal differential, so all they need is a draw to move on. It’s impossible for them to top the group, so I don’t expect much aggression.
Chelsea should play conservative soccer, controlling the possession and possibly taking advantage of counter attacks. The Blues know if their opponent doesn’t score, they won’t move on, so defense should be a priority for the English side.
Chelsea has netted two of their three goals in the first half so far this tournament, and if that happens again today, I see them parking the bus. They scored in the 13′ minute last match before allowing three goals in the final 30 minutes to lose the group to Flamengo. That will play in the back of their mind the rest of the competition, and today they should do anything to avoid a loss and advance.
Prediction: Chelsea Win 1-0 (+525)
