We are over a third of the way through the English Premier League, and with winter moving in, we’ve reached the point of the season where we get random games throughout the weeks. Even with some sprinkled during the middle of the dang thing. Nevertheless, the EPL is giving us three matches to wager on this Tuesday, and of course, we had to find our best picks.

Today in the EPL, we have the following matches.

The first third of the season did not go well. I need to turn things around in that last two thirds.

If I had to bet this game, I would take AFC Bournemouth at home on the moneyline. I don’t hate their team total at over 1.5 either, but I would imagine two goals is enough for the hosts to win this match. Antoine Semenyo and Tyler Adams were both back on the pitch last weekend and are fit for this game. They lost 3-2 at Sunderland after having a two goal lead just 15 minutes into the match, meaning they should come into this one focused more on the defensive end.

Everton were just routed at home by Newcastle, losing 4-1, and they’ve been hit or miss on the road this year. Sure, they upset Manchester United at Old Trafford in their last away contest, but they also have losses to Manchester City, Liverpool, Leeds United and Wolverhampton this season. I think the hosts have the fire power to get the job done.

Prediction: AFC Bournemouth Wins 2-0 (+975)

Best Bet: Manchester City ML/Under 4.5 (+115) BetOnline

I went with an extra cushion with 4.5, just so a 3-1 win doesn’t hurt us. You can take this parlay with under 3.5 for +163 if you’d rather, but who knows how many City will score. They’ve lost their last two EPL matches on the road (to Newcastle and Aston Villa), but against Fulham they should earn three points.

City are still chasing Arsenal for the top spot on the EPL table, sitting five points behind them. They will see this match as an easy way to earn three points and try to close that gap, putting some pressure on the Gunners. Sure, a 3-2 City win would hurt us, which is what happened at the Etihad against Leeds this weekend. But that’s all the more reason for Pep to get on his back line and tighten up the defense going into this match.

Prediction: Manchester City Win 2-0 (+850)

These two teams already faced off at St. James’ Park in the Carabao Cup in late October. Newcastle was able to win that match 2-0. However, Tottenham defender Cristian Romero was not available, but will be back for this contest, immediately helping their back line. Still, Newcastle are absolutely cruising. They’ve won their last two EPL matches, including one over Manchester City at home, so do we really think the Spurs have what it takes to pull off this upset?

Newcastle is a big favorite for a reason. It’s a little too much juice for me to pay, even if Tottenham doesn’t have a win in their last four overall, so I would suggest pairing them with an inflated under to get more bag for your buck. Ultimately, this is a match where we will figure out what these two teams are made of, as they spend the final two thirds of the season trying to crawl their way back into the top 10.

Prediction: Newcastle United Win 1-0 (+725)
