It feels like months ago we were sweating out some early morning EPL bets. Finally, the players return from international break and are ready to take the field for their home clubs. We are already 11 matches into the season, meaning we are closing in on the opening third of the season being over. The table is taking shape, and the Gunners are starting to run away with things. Can anyone catch them? Let’s look at our favorite EPL picks for tomorrow’s slate.

Back the Black Cats to at least earn a point on the road against Fulham. Sunderland currently sits in fourth place on the EPL table, but five different teams are breathing down their necks just a single point behind. Getting one on the road would be crucial, and I think they are capable of earning three in this match.

The visitors are tied for fourth in goals allowed this season, giving up just 10 total, less than one per match. While they don’t score all that much, a nil-nil draw is a win in our book as it would cash our bet. Fulham has scored just 12 goals this season, with three of them coming against the Wolverhampton Wanderers, meaning they’ve netted just nine in their other 10 contests. Arsenal and Chelsea were both able to shutout Fulham, and I think Sunderland can do the same while finding the back of the net at least once.

The moneyline at nearly 3-1 is definitely worth a stab, and if you want to get real freaky, Sunderland to Nil is +500. But the double chance is enough for me.

Prediction: Sunderland Wins 1-0 (+825)

Best Bet: Crystal Palace ML (-112) BetOnline

This one might be a little scary backing Palace on the road, but come on. It’s the Wolves. Wolverhampton is at the bottom of the EPL table with just two draws all season long. They are the worst team in the league in goals scored (7) and goals allowed (25), while being the only team without a win so far this season. The visitors are in great form.

Crystal Palace is No. 10 on the table, but rank third in the league in goals allowed, conceding just nine in their 11 matches. This makes them one of three teams allowing less than double digits goals. The other two are Arsenal and Manchester City who are in first and second place currently. Point being, if you don’t allow goals, good things happen.

Palace does not have any injury concerns, so we should be getting their best 11 on the pitch. The Wolves have lost five straight games and have been shutout 3-0 in their last two. Six of their seven goals have come at home this year, but I trust the Palace backline to hold strong, and don’t hate them to win to nil at +220 if you wanted to sprinkle elsewhere.

Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions, and have been battle tested this year with wins over Aston Villa on the road, against Liverpool, and a hard fought 1-0 loss to Arsenal on the road, where former Palace stud Eberechi Eze ended his previous squad’s hopes of a draw. Palace are the better team facing the weakest club in the EPL, they will handle business, even on the road.

Prediction: Crystal Palace Wins 2-0 (+775)
