Another Saturday rolls around and another delicious EPL slate we have before us. Let’s get right into our favorite Premier League picks for this weekend. Yes, we are down on the season, but we are chipping away at the deficit week after week, getting ourselves back into the green.

We are currently climbing out of an early season hole, but we’re slowly getting there.

We took this exact same bet when Chelsea came to visit Tottenham last weekend, and we’re going right back to it. They’ve shutout Manchester United in both meetings this year, beating them in February at home in the EPL and in the UEFA Europa League Final by a score of 1-0 in both contests. Tottenham ranks second in the league in goals allowed, giving up just eight in 10 matches, and they are coming off a home shutout in the Champions League this week.

White Manchester United have been soaring up the EPL table and scoring at will in the process, the team has some question marks on the road. Sure they upset Liverpool, but they needed an 81′ minute goal to draw against Nottingham Forest, they lost to Brentford and Manchester City by a combined score of 6-1, and they drew against Fulham 1-1 early in the year (not to mention their Carabao Cup early exit).

I believe Tottenham will come very focused, especially on the defensive side of things like we’ve seen all season.

Prediction: Tottenham Wins 1-0 (+1200)

Anyone remember a couple weeks ago when we backed Burnley on a similar line against Wolverhampton on the road? When we hit their +315 moneyline? Well guess what… we’re doing that again this weekend. Burnley on the double chance with a small sprinkle on the +320 ML this Saturday at West Ham.

The hosts might be coming off their own personal Super Bowl. West Ham beat Newcastle United 3-1 last weekend for just their second EPL victory of the season and their first in front of the home crowd. This is the perfect match for them to come back down to Earth. After beating the Wolves, Burnley got a taste of the real world again, as they were shutout by Arsenal at home last weekend, where we successfully faded them for profit (Gunners to Nil). Against lower tier opponents, Burnley is unbeaten. They have wins over Wolves, Leeds United and Sunderland (who are currently fourth on the table), and a draw against Nottingham Forest.

Burnley can hang with the rest of the EPL bottom feeders, and this Saturday I see them at least earning another point, or pulling out a win.

Prediction: Burnley Wins 2-1 (+1100)

Best Bet: Chelsea -1.5 (+111) BetOnline

I looked at Chelsea to win to nil at +130 but am worried about the Wanderers getting a cheap one from the Blues. Regardless, the hosts have the fire power to put this game away early, and I expect them to leave no doubt at Stamford Bridge. They should’ve already beaten this Wolves team by two in the Carabao Cup. After going up 3-0 in the first half, Chelsea relaxed and eventually gave up two goals to make things interesting, but found a fourth in the 89′ to really seal a win. However, the Wolves got a garbage goal in stoppage to lose by one.

They are the worst team in the Premier League, allowing 2.2 goals per match, while netting only 0.7. On the other bench, Chelsea is tied for second in the league, scoring 18 goals in 10 matches this year, allowing just over one per match. I see this being a 2-0, 3-0 or 3-1 Chelsea win.

Prediction: Chelsea Wins 2-0 (+650)
