There are actually more EPL matches on Sunday than Saturday this week, as we have five slated for us to bet on. Four of them kick off at 10:00 a.m. eastern, while the stand alone match features Everton hosting Tottenham Hotspur. We’re here to give you our analysis and favorite picks, so let’s get right into Sunday’s EPL.

We are currently climbing out of an early season hole, but we’re slowly getting there.

Of course I am starting with the grossest game on the board, and listen up J.J. Watt, I’m backing your squad. Make sure those boys are fired up. Both of these teams are at or near the bottom of the table, but only one has an offense that has shown up this season.

Both teams have allowed 15 (or 16) goals this year, with the hosts only netting five total in eight matches. No wonder they haven’t won an EPL contest yet. Burnley only has two wins and a draw with five losses, but they’ve at least netted nine total this season. This line may be telling that Wolverhampton finally wins a game, but I’m still trusting the offense I’ve actually seen. Burnley has certainly been battle tested away from home, as they’ve faced Tottenham, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa on the road.

After all of those foes, the winless Wolves should be a piece of cake. Burnley lost to Man United and Liverpool on controversial stoppage time penalties, but have earned seven points in their three matches against inferior opponents. I could see them earning another three on the road, and have a very small sprinkle on their ML at +340.

Prediction: Burnley Wins 2-1 (+1200)

Best Bet: Manchester City ML (-125) BetOnline

Just take this and say thank you later. Did you see what happened to Villa this week? They lost to Go Ahead Eagles, who currently sit No. 12 on the Dutch Eredivisie table, after going up 1-0 in the fourth minute. That was on Thursday on the road, and now they have to turn around and get ready for Manchester City.

Sure, City had to go to Spain this week, but their UCL win over Villarreal was on Tuesday, giving them at least 48 hours more rest that their hosts. Manchester City is the deepest team all across Europe, and I see them flexing their muscle on the road in Villa Park, a place where they haven’t won since 2021.

City are the highest scoring team in the league, while also ranking second in goals allowed. While Villa is turning their season in the right direction, I don’t think they’ll be able to hang with an EPL giant like City who are trying to keep up with Arsenal (who control the table).

Prediction: Manchester City Wins 2-0 (+1000)

AFC Bournemouth vs. Nottingham Forest EPL Picks

Best Bet: AFC Bournemouth ML/Team Total Over 1.5 (+130) BetOnline

You can take either of these bets individually. The Moneyline is -119 on BetOnline, and the Team Total Over 1.5 is -115, both very playable by themselves. But why not pair them together for a little more reward?

For starters, AFC Bournemouth have netted two (or more) goals in three straight, and four of their last five overall, plus they beat Forest 5-0 back in January in their last head to head meeting. So far this season, Forest have only netted five goals across eight matches, while giving up 15, putting them third worst in the league. The hosts will challenge them offensively, knowing they can take advantage of the visitors bad back line.

Bournemouth are No. 4 in the EPL so far this year, and against other top teams on the road, Forest were shutout 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates and 2-0 by Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. With the way the Cherries have been playing, they should have no problem netting two and winning this game. If you’d like, you can “hedge” by taking Bournemouth 1-0 (+625), which is the only way that they win and we lose. I also thought of Bournemouth to Nil, but worry about them giving up a cheap one if they go up by two early.

Prediction: AFC Bournemouth Wins 3-0 (+1300)
