Even though we only have four matches on the EPL slate tomorrow, we still had to dive in and find our favorite picks. We will be back for Sunday’s action as well, but as we dig ourselves out of an early hole, we have to focus on the task at hand. Let’s get through another winning Saturday (hopefully).

We will always be transparent around here, and this EPL season hasn’t started that well.

Best Bet: Chelsea ML/Both Teams to Score No (+125) BetOnline

Through eight matches in the EPL, Chelsea sits at No. 5 on the overall table, but they are the second highest scoring offense in the league, netting two goals per match. Sunderland has performed very well this year, allowing just six goals which is tied for second in the EPL, but the offense has yet to put 10 balls in the back of the net. They are the highest team on the table with less than double digit goals. Their defense has been getting it done for them, but I’m not sure they can hold on against Chelsea.

The Blues offense is in full swing even with Cole Palmer sidelined. They’ve netted 10 total goals in their last three matches, against Ajax in the UCL, Nottingham Forest and in their win over Liverpool. Chelsea have won four straight overall with two shutouts in that span. In just four away matches this year, the Black Cats have produced only one goal, losing in a 2-0 shutout to Manchester United and Burnley, while playing Crystal Palace to a scoreless draw.

At Stamford Bridge, the hosts should have enough to firepower to find a winner, and I doubt Sunderland is able to find the back of the net.

Prediction: Chelsea Wins 1-0 (+650)

I couldn’t press this button fast enough. Fading Manchester United has been one of my favorite things to do this year, and the Seagulls are flying high. Brighton are unbeaten in their last five matches, netting 2.8 per contest in that span. On the road this year, they already have a big win over Chelsea, beating them 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. It won’t be any different at Old Trafford.

Now, Manchester United have won two straight and their last three at home this EPL season. However they beat Burnley thanks to a 90’+7′ controversial penalty kick by Bruno Fernandes, and the visitors had an own goal as well. In their win over Chelsea, the Blues spent the first 40 minutes down a man, where Manchester United netted two goals before they played 10 on 10 for the second half. And then they shutout Sunderland who we just established is not good on the road.

The point is, Brighton has the firepower to challenge this United team that has really been skating by at home this season. Give me the Seagulls to at least earn a point at Old Trafford.

Prediction: Brighton Wins 2-1 (+1200)

Now, I did not bet this, as I still do not trust Liverpool. But surely they can at least earn a point on the road against Brentford. Despite both teams scoring and allowing at least double digit goals in just eight EPL matches so far, I think defense will be a focus for the hosts. Plus, the past two head to head matches between the two teams were 2-0 Liverpool victories.

The Bees were shutout 1-0 when Manchester City came to town, and drew 2-2 with Chelsea thanks to a stoppage time goal from Fabio Carvalho. Although Liverpool did drop three straight in the EPL, and four overall before beating Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, they looked like they were back in authentic Liverpool form this week (especially after going down 1-0 just 26 minutes into the match).

If I trusted Liverpool, I would think they are able to collect a third straight 2-0 win over Brentford, but it’s a pass from me.

Prediction: Liverpool Wins 2-0 (+1000)
