The EPL has loaded up Saturday’s slate with seven matches for us to bet on. The action gets started right away as Liverpool hosts Everton at Anfield, followed by four matches at 10:00 a.m. eastern, with two stand alone matches later on the slate. Chelsea heads to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United, with Fulham and Brentford closing out a full day of soccer. Of course, before college football gets going we’ve got to try and start off our Saturday with some winners, so here’s our favorite EPL Picks.

English Premier League: Saturday’s Predictions September 20

West Ham United vs. Crystal Palace EPL Picks
Ismaila Sarr and Crystal Palace should steal three points on the road
Best Bet: Crystal Palace ML (+136) BetOnline
I’ll take a stab at Crystal Palace on the road, but I’m all for fading West Ham United. The hosts have lost four out of five matches this competition season, and have been shutout twice in the EPL. They are coming off a 3-0 loss to Tottenham at home, and while Palace isn’t as good as the Spurs, they are playing very well to start off the season.
Palace is unbeaten in the Premier League this year, but have just one win and three draws. Regardless they are No. 9 on the table and will look to add some points against one of the league’s bottom feeders thus far. They beat Aston Villa on the road in their last contest while dominating Sunderland but failing to find the back of the net after putting 6/14 shots on target and earning five corner kicks.
I have no problem backing them on the road against a weaker opponent, and I am willing to take a chance with Crystal Palace to beat down on West Ham just like everyone else has this season.
Prediction: Crystal Palace Wins 2-0 (+975)
Burnley vs. Nottingham Forest EPL Picks

Best Bet: Burnley/Nottingham Forest Over 2.5 (+100) BetOnline
I thought about taking Both Teams to Score at (-130), but Nottingham Forest should score enough to win this match while letting one slip in.
In May of 2024 when Burnley was last in the EPL, Forest won 2-1 at Burnley while playing to a 1-1 draw when they hosted earlier that season. Both teams have only netted a goal per match this year, while allowing seven (Burnley) and eight (Forest). Neither are having a good season, and they both have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
Nottingham Forest should view this match as a chance to earn three points and shoot up the table, while Burnley will also see it as a spot at home where they don’t have to play for a draw. While I see both teams finding the back of the net at some point, just like in the past two head to head meetings, Forest should be able to find a winner (or Burnley, I won’t be picky).
Three of Forest’s four EPL matches and their Carabao Cup contest have gone over this number, while Burnley has had three of their five competitive matches see at least three goals.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest Wins 2-1 (+775)
Manchester United vs. Chelsea EPL Picks
Joao Pedro leads Chelsea with two goals and three assists this EPL season
Best Bet: Chelsea ML (+152) BetOnline
I cannot pass up Chelsea at this price. They are unbeaten in the EPL this year, and haven’t lost to Manchester United in three matches. The Blues are coming off a UEFA Champions League loss to Bayern Munich, losing 3-1 in Germany on Wednesday. One of the three allowed was an own goal, while another was a penalty kick, which is why I haven’t lost faith in Chelsea.
They’ve score nine goals and allowed just three in four domestic league matches this year, while their hosts have only scored four and given up seven. Manchester United’s only win this competitive season came against Burnley at home, where they needed an own goal and a 90’+7′ minute penalty to steal three points at the whistle. More recently, they were shutout 3-0 in the Manchester Derby.
United have not proven to me that they are a good football club again. They finished No. 15 on the table last year and No. 8 the year prior. They are still trying to find their groove and I don’t see it happening at Old Trafford with a motivated, healthy Chelsea team coming to town. Not to get greedy, but Chelsea ML and Both Teams to Score No is +400 for the real sickos.
