Apple TV Gives Access to MLS Playoff Matches for Subscribers

Apple is giving all Apple TV subscribers access to the MLS playoffs, expanding its sports streaming strategy and boosting fan engagement across North America.

The tech giant announced that, starting this week, every Apple TV subscriber can watch select MLS playoff games at no extra cost.

Apple TV Offers MLS Playoffs Coverage to All Users

Since the start of Apple’s partnership with Major League Soccer in 2023, full access to every game required an MLS Season Pass.

Apple has significantly discounted the pass for the remainder of the 2025 season, offering it at $29 annually, or $25 for Apple TV+ subscribers, down from the regular $99 price.

Non-subscribers can still access select playoff games for free as part of Apple’s latest offer. Subscribers can stream the games through the Apple TV app on smart TVs, iPhones, iPads, and streaming devices.

Apple’s latest move opens the door for millions of casual fans to watch playoff matches for free, increasing exposure for both the league and the streaming service.

Subscribers can stream the games through the Apple TV app on smart TVs, iPhones, iPads, and streaming devices.

This special offer covers several playoff rounds leading up to the MLS Cup Final in December. Moreover, Apple aims to attract new fans ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Apple’s expanded coverage includes behind-the-scenes content, match highlights, and expert MLS picks from analysts.

This integration enhances engagement while connecting fans to live action and data-driven MLS odds throughout the postseason.
