Mokri’s Reaction and 2025 Success

Following his victory, Mokri expressed gratitude and excitement. He stated that winning the Triton Invitational was a career highlight and a testament to consistent effort throughout 2025.

His year has included multiple deep runs in high-stakes events, from EPT Super High Roller titles to a maiden Triton title in Jeju. His wins showcase a blend of experience and strategic insight.

“I love this format,” said Mokri. “I think the Invitees have a format where they get to talk and play among themselves, and then face stiff competition afterwards!”

“It levels the playing field a little bit, which also makes it more fun for them. I think they enjoy both parts,” Mokri added. “If I went back ten years and told myself I would be doing this right now, I would not believe myself.”

Additionally, the result also sees Mokri overtake former WSOP Main Event champion Espen Jorstad at the top of the Norwegian all-time money list.

With the WSOP Paradise festival still underway, Mokri’s victory adds momentum to what is already a remarkable year. Fans and fellow players alike anticipate more high-stakes performances from Mokri, who continues to redefine excellence in modern poker.
