Inaugural PGT Bounty Blitz Set to Electrify ARIA, Las Vegas

Las Vegas braces for a high-octane poker spectacle. PokerGO Tour (PGT) is set to launch its inaugural PGT Bounty Blitz from September 1 to 6, 2025, inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino. This marks the ninth series of the 2025 PGT season.

The series comprises six thrilling No-Limit Hold’em events. Each event carries a $5,300 buy-in. From each entry, $2,000 funnels directly into the bounty pool.

Players registering early in the queue save $200 on their buy-ins, adding urgency and value.

The event lineup sweeps through five distinct bounty formats before returning to a standard knockout in event six.

PGT Bounty Blitz Events

1st Event: Standard Knockout
Eliminate a player and claim a $2,000 bounty during this event.

2nd Event: Escalator Format During the Escalator Format, bounties start at $500, rise to $1,000 after registration closes, then adjust based on remaining prize pool.

3rd Event: Quattro Format For the Quattro Format, players participate in knockout rounds. Once 25% of the field remains, bounties jump to $8,000.

4th Event: Progressive Knockout Players receive half the bounty in cash; the rest increases their own bounty.

5th Event: Mystery Bounty As its name implies, this event delivers surprise bounty values; second-highest bounty reserved for the final table.

6rh Event: Return to Standard Knockout Lastly, the sixth event reverts back to Standard Knockout rules, wrapping the series in one high-intensity day.

PGT Shot-Clock, Leaderboards Live During the Event

The structure excites both professionals and fans. PGT’s shot-clock will be active throughout. This equates to players having 20 seconds pre-flop and 30 seconds post-flop to act. Additionally, time extensions are available for players.

Moreover, players earn PGT leaderboard points based on cash results. These points feed into the 2025 PGT $1,000,000 Championship. The top finishers and select Dream Seat winners vie for a $500,000 first-place prize.

The PGT Bounty Blitz will stream final-table action for the first five events from September 2 to 6. However, the final event on September 6 will not be streamed.

In conclusion, the Bounty Blitz promises innovation and intensity. Aspirants from the best online poker sites will likely tune in for strategic inspiration and watch great poker play. This inventive festival may redefine bounty tournament dynamics.
