The CoinPoker PLO Cash Game World Championship is heating up, and ‘godfromstock’ currently leads the competition in the global leaderboards.
From October 6th at 12:00 UTC to midnight on November 2nd, players are battling across exclusive rake-free PLO tables for leaderboard glory and a share of more than $55,000 in total prizes, including a Rolex worth $15,000 for the champion.
The action has been fierce and unrelenting, with some of the world’s toughest grinders trading massive pots on CoinPoker’s blockchain-powered platform. As the event nears its final stretch, one player has pulled ahead, setting the bar high for the rest of the field.
‘godfromstock’ Sets the Pace in CoinPoker PLO Cash Game World Championship
The anonymous grinder known as ‘godfromstock’ leads all competitors and is the only player with more than 10,000 points. He’s also the most profitable player among the top ten, earning $83,426.76 through disciplined play and consistent results.
However, the leaderboard tells more than one story. ‘Buffalo888’ has posted even higher raw profits, racking up $102,738 in winnings. His heater has been remarkable, as his all-in EV sits at just $35,115.99.
But because the contest rewards expected value rather than pure profit, he currently sits in 17th place.
In second place is online legend Dirk Gerritse, also known as ‘venividi1993’. He’s accumulated 9,060.20 points, holding a 900-point cushion over third place but trailing the leader by about 1,700 points.
Gerritse’s high-stakes experience gives him the poise and skill to mount a serious challenge in the final weeks.
One of the unluckiest competitors so far has been ‘cumicon.’ Despite an adjusted all-in EV of $65,375 over 23,745 hands, he’s down nearly $11,000 overall. His results show how ruthless variance can be in Pot-Limit Omaha.
Meanwhile, ‘KaskaGrrossa’ stands out in seventh place with only 6,054 hands played. This is less than half of anyone else in the top ten. He’s running below expectation, with $27,746 in profit and an EV of $55,568.
On the opposite side of the volume spectrum, ‘SoyBoy2023’ has played an enormous 72,687 hands: the most among top contenders. His persistence has paid off with nearly $20,000 in profit and an eighth-place standing.
In contrast, ‘TonyGonyourBike’ has played even more, 77,120 hands, but ranks 55th and is down $9,643.
Finally, ‘lmf42’ has endured one of the toughest runs in the championship. He’s in 28th place with 3,046 points after 46,402 hands, ranking among the top five percent for volume. Despite an EV of $21,539.29, he’s currently down $34,439.
Every day brings wild swings, but for now, ‘godfromstock’ remains the clear favorite to claim the crown.
How the Cash Game World Championship Works
After the massive success of its past editions, CoinPoker proudly presents the third Cash Game World Championship (CGWC). This championship uses the thrilling Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) format.
The event’s structure rewards consistent performance over sheer luck. Players earn leaderboard points based on expected value rather than raw profit, encouraging skillful play across thousands of tracked hands.
All action takes place on CoinPoker’s blockchain-backed platform, ensuring transparency and fairness in every result. There are no eliminations or fixed buy-ins. Participants can jump in or out anytime, and results are recorded automatically through CoinPoker’s secure system.
Adding to the excitement, every competitor who logs 10,000 hands receives a 1-month PLO Genius PRO package to sharpen their game. The top three finishers earn one year of PLO Genius PRO, while fourth and fifth place secure a full year of PLO Genius EDGE.
With more than $55,000 in prizes and a luxury Rolex on the line, the CoinPoker PLO CGWC has cemented itself as one of the most exciting online poker competitions in the world.
CoinPoker’s innovative approach continues to strengthen its position among leading international and US online poker sites, showcasing the future of blockchain-powered poker competition.
