Anaheim isn’t having a great season but really wasn’t expected too. This offseason didn’t bring in many moves and they’re returning almost the same team as last. Offense has been a serious struggle for Anaheim, and you can’t win games when you can’t find the back of the net.

They are 9-10-3 this season and 8th in the Pacific Division. Anaheim ranks in the bottom of the league for goals scored and shots on goal per game. They come into this game off a loss to the Kings Friday night and are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.

On defense, their goalies get peppered every game. The Ducks are last in the league for shots on goal allowed with 33.5 per game. They don’t have a very good penalty kill either, which can really hurt them vs a very strong Senators power play.

We have a very uneventful game in front of us to close the night. Both teams are struggling all around and I think we see this tonight. Dostal have fared well vs the Senators in his career, allowing only 1 goal in his last 2 matchups.

I like for this to be a boring game (not like it, but you know what I mean). We should cost to a 3 or 4 total by the end of the game. I don’t have high expectations for us to be entertained. I lean the Senators, but hockey is weird on Sunday’s, so the Ducks could win.

No official lean here, but I like Mason Mctavish to record 2 or more shots on goal for -140. He has hit in his last 2 games, last 5 out of 6 games and in his last 3 games vs the Sens. Other look is Olen Zellweger for 2 or more shots record. He has a 90% hit rate over this last 10 games and his momentum should carry to this game despite not hitting his shots last year vs Ottawa.
