Tonight, we have the Pittsburgh Penguins (30-29-9) taking on the Dallas Stars (42-19-9) at the American Airlines Center. These 2 teams met up earlier this season and Dallas won the game by a score of 4-1.

Goalie Tristan Jarry is expected to be in net for the game. His record this year is 19-23-5 with a 2.84 GAA and a .905 save percentage. He hasn’t the most stellar year, but his team will be relying on him to hold it down in net.

Dallas on the other hand is tied for 1st in the Central Division with the Colorado Avalanche and the Winnipeg Jets. They’re have a fantastic year and play well whether home or on the road.
Coming in on a 2-game winning streak, the Stars are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games. They have a home record of 21-10-4 which is almost the same as they are on the road with a 21-9-5 record.
For offense, the Stars pack a punch. They rank 3rd in the league for goals scored per game with 3.61. Dallas has a strong power play, good shooting percentage and wins the 3rd most face offs in the league.
On defense, the Stars allow 3 goals (15th) per game and 29 shots on goal (8th) per game. They also commit the least number of penalties per game which is key.
Goalie Jake Oettinger is expected to get the start. He has a 26-13-4 record with a 3.02 GAA and a .897 save percentage. His 26 wins ranks 8th in the league amongst goalies.

Pittsburgh needs this game or at least a point if it comes down to it. They’re going to play a hard-fought game to try and get those points, but I don’t think it’s going to be enough.
Dallas has played well all year and is playing well currently which is the right time. They could take the Division and that is just as much, if not more, of a motivator to get those points.
I think the Stars out play the Penguins on both ends of the ice. We’re going to take the puck line for the plus money. Dallas should out a few on the board on a road to an easy win and us cashing our tickets.
