The Leafs handled business in the Game 2 and held the Panthers off by a score of 4-3. They had a big 2nd period where they took the lead and were able to get it back in the 3rd period to seal the deal. William Nylander had a goal which was his 3rd of the series.

Toronto laid on the offense in this game, out shooting the Panthers 37 to 22. They’re really playing well from top to bottom on their lines which is equaling a lot of success. Max Domi and Max Pacioretty both came up with big goals in Game 2.

Goalie Jospeh Woll got his 2nd win of the series last game. He allowed 3 goals on 28 shot attempts, getting the start after finishing Game 1. Woll will need to tighten up as these have only been 1 goal games and now, they’re on the road.

Florida really struggled on offense in Game 2. You wouldn’t think that when you see they scored 3 goals, but only having 22 shots on goal isn’t going to cut it. This offense is absolutely electric and should get back to form at home.

The Panthers were 27-12-2 at home this season and won 1 of their home games in round 1. They really need to thrive being at home because they cannot afford to go down 3-0 in this series. A few guys need to step it up if they’re going to win.

Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Reinhart could really use a goal. Both have been mediocre this round and the team could use them in a groove. Getting one in the net could be just what they need.

In net, Sergei Bobrovsky will be starting. Bob faced 20 shots and allowed 4 goals in Game 2. He really needs to see some help from the defense to keep this team in the game. Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

I lean with the Panthers here at home and so does Vegas with that of -240. Just like the last 2 games, I think we see goals tonight. Both of these teams’ offenses have been playing well, even with the Panthers barely shooting in Game 2.

Both of these teams are going to come out swinging and they’re already used to their opposing goalie. I think the Panthers also have a better chance of winning because they have the better goalie. If Bob can lock it, this Leafs team is in trouble.

The Leafs could very well could take this, but they need to keep holding the Panthers to a low number of shots. From their offense, I like William Nylander to record 3 or more shots on goal, and I also like for him to score. He has only got 2 shots in his last 2 games, but I think he finally breaks it.

I also like for Same Bennett to get 3 or more shots on goal and record a point. He’s coming off a complete dud which is why I like this spot. The 2 games prior, he combined for 2 goals and 13 shots on goal. He’s ready to get back to it at home.
