Calgary is 1-2-0 to start the year and come into this game off a loss to the Blues on Saturday. They won their first game of the season but then dropped the next two. The Flames are still looking for their first home win of the season.

The loss to the Blues on Saturday was by a final score of 4-2. They played a solid game, if not better, than the Blues for the first two periods of the game. Matt Coronato had the teams two goals through two periods.

During the third period though, they were nowhere to be found. The Blues put up two goals in the third to take the game. Both teams only converted one power play of many that they had and shot almost the same number of shots.

Knights look to bounce back after Saturday’s OT loss

The Knights are 1-0-2 this season and come into this game off an overtime loss to the Seattle Kraken on Saturday. It was the team’s second overtime loss this season, which at least it’s point, but can’t become the normal.

Seattle started the scoring with a power play goal in the first period. Vegas got it back with a power play goal of their own in the second period. Jared McCann ended the game in the last seconds of overtime to avoid a shootout.

Vegas got off 27 shots vs. the Krakens 22 shots but were out hit 30-22. The Knights won ten more faceoffs, which means they held more control of the puck.

Goalie Adin Hill is expected in net. Hill has lost both his starts in overtime this season. He will be put back to the test tonight vs. the Flames. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Knights vs. Flames picks.

This is a great spot for the Knights to bounce back. They were a great road team last year and I see that continuing. Vegas will most likely face Dustin Wolf who so far has a 3.98 GAA through three games.

Vegas has a stacked and crafty offense with guys like Mark Stone and Jack Eichel on offense. The addition of Mitch Marner was huge, and they have Tomas Hertl who is coming off a huge year. You could blink an eye, and they have 5 goals.

The first play I like is Jack Eichel to record 3 or more shots on goal for -130. Eichel has had a great start with 2 goals and 5 assists while hitting his shots in every game. He is a core of this team and will be heavily involved in everything.

I also like the Knights other big gun in Pavel Dorofeyev to get 3 or more shots on goal for -140. Little juiced, but just like Eichel – guy is on one with 5 goals to start the season. He has hit his shots in every game and will continue to keep firing.
