The Kraken are off to an 8-8-1 and are 6th in the Pacific Division. They are currently 4-5-1 in their last 10 games but are on a 3-game winning streak. At home, they’re 5-3-1 on the year and will be looking for their 4th win in a row.

Injuries haven’t been too kind to the Kraken. Former Islander and team captain Jordan Eberle has been out with a lower body injury. Defenseman Vince Dunn, who is a huge part of this team, is on the LTIR with a upper body injury.

On offense, this team ranks middle of the road. They rank 7th in goals per game, but 25th in shots on goal per game. You can see they try to make the most of their shots with an 11% shooting percentage, 15th in the league.

Defensively, they allow 3 goals per game and almost 30 shots on goal. They will need to tighten that up vs the Islanders who have been shooting a lot this season. Goalie Joey Daccord is expected in net today. He has a 2.55 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
