Goalie Ilya Sorokin is expected in net tonight. He has a 12-13-4 record with a 2.92 GAA and a .898 save percentage. It’s been a rough go for Sorokin with no Varlamov and it won’t get easier tonight.

The Knights have been more than fun to watch this season. They’re 28-9-3 this season and 1st in the Pacific Division. Vegas is currently on a 3-game winning streak and are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games.

This team is so good at home, with a 17-4-0 record. It should be not a problem for this offense to get going. The Knights rank 4th in the league for both goals scored and shots on goal per game. They are also tied for 6th in both power play and shooting percentages.

On defense, they are just as good. This team ranks 5th in the league for goals allowed and 12th for shots on goal allowed per game. They don’t have the best penalty kill, but on the flip side, they commit the least number of penalties in the league.

Goalie Adin Hill is expected to get the start. He is 17-6-2 this season with a 2.58 GAA and a .904 save percentage. The Islanders shouldn’t be too much of a test for him. Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

Well, there’s no surprise who I’m taking here. This should be an easy one for the Knights and especially at home. I even like for them to win this game by more than 2 goals.

This Vegas offense is such a powerhouse and this Islanders defense has no answer for it. The Isles have a good goalie in net, but he can only do so much. I expect Sorokin to get peppered in this game, so we’ll be taking the over on his saves.

The lack of offense from the Islanders will be the other reason why the Knights will roll.
