Tonight, we head to Las Vegas as the Golden Knights will try to tie this series up at 3 games each. After taking a 2-0 lead in the series, the Knights have dropped the last 3 straights.
It was almost strange at 1st that each team lost both home games, but Dallas changed that in Game 5. All 5 of the games have been close, so I expect we see another dog fight.
In Game 5, Vegas got on the board in the 1st period with 2 goals, as did the Stars. They were blanked after that, not scoring again. Stars goalie Jake Oettinger defended 18 shots in the 2nd and 3rd period, not allowing 1 goal.
Getting their offense into hyper gear is huge for the Knights. Their home games are absolutely electric, so I’d like to think they come out fired up.
Goalie Adin Hill got the start in Game 5, his 1st of the playoffs. Logan Thompson is expected in net tonight after getting the 2 wins for the Knights in this series.
Dallas will look to close out the series vs the defending champs

Dallas has come back a surprised us all. A lot of people thought they were a fraud #1 seed coming out of the west, but not people are second guessing that.
After dropping the 1st two games at home, they have dominated the last 3 games. All the games have been close and come down to the end.
Last game, they were able to find the game winner in the 2nd period, but they’re going to want to get a few more tonight if they want to win. Vegas should be a tough place to play in tonight.
Goalie Jake Oettinger has been playing great hockey over these 3 games. He’s only allowed 2 goals in each of those 3 games. Dallas will look to him again tonight to help carry them to a W.

It’s going to be a good one tonight. I think the home ice is going to be a factor and help Vegas have the edge. The defending Stanley Cup champs are ready to go home yet.
The line the sportsbooks are giving us are extremely close, with Dallas getting the edge. It’s hard to say no the Knight as an underdog.
Vegas will need Thompson to play at the top of his game tonight to keep them in the game. Expect Mark Stone and Jack Eichel to be firing the puck on offense.
I think Vegas grits this one out at home and forces a Game 7. For a nugget, I like Eichel to get 4+ sogs at -120. He has to play his best game for this team to have a chance.
