For this one, I’m going with the team that has a lot to play for and is just better as well. Toronto is catching Philly at the right time as well because they can’t get a win for anything. The Leafs offense should have fun against this defense and will put Ersson to work.

The Flyers allow a lot of goals and are extremely leaky, which I think will be the difference of this game. Toronto averages over 3 goals a game and Ersson is allowing 3 himself, so we should see at least that many. They’re also playing in front of the home crowd, which we know they play better at home.

Winning this game by 2+ goals shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t think the Flyers score more than 1 goal. Their team total under is definitely something to look at. For a game total, I’m thinking the game goes under the 5.5, but just barely. Maybe a 4-1 win.

For player props, I love Auston Mathews to record 2 or more points. In his last 5 games, he has hit the mark, including a hat trick. His shots haven’t been the most consistent, but the kid loves the home crowd, so definitely a good look. I’ll be taking him to score as well as he should bury one on the power play.
