1. Brock Boeser Point +100 on BetOnline:

Brock Boeser plays very well against the Kings

Boeser plays incredibly well historically against Kings

Let’s be frank, Boeser and the entire Canucks have been a bit rocky lately. There are rumored dressing room issues with GIANT names on the trading block and the team has had some goalie injury issues. But that just means we are getting a discount on some of their top player props.

The Canucks top winger Brock Boeser has not been able to replicate his phenomenal season last year, where at times he was near the top of the goalscorers race. But he has still been productive with 15 goals and 27 points in the 36 games he has played this season. He has been better at home with a point in 60% of home games this season. We are getting his point prop for nearly 50% off because of his recent performance and the opponent he faces, the Los Angeles Kings.

Boeser only has. a point in 5 of his last 10 games and only 2 of his last 5 games. But the Canucks were on a lengthy five game roadtrip and will now be back at home. And while the Kings are one of the top defensive teams in the league, allowing the 2nd least goals against per game, Boeser has shinned against them. He has a point in 9 of the last 11 games against the Kings with three multi-point games. Of those 12 points TEN of them are goals. So trusting a bounce back with good historical context in this NHL best bet.

2. Vincent Trochek o2.5 SOG +100 on BetOnline:

New York Rangers top six forward Vincent Trochek SOG best bet

New York Rangers top six forward Vincent Trochek loves shooting on the road

Another player who we are getting a fantastic price for in a great match. Vinny Trochek is playing as the top center for the New York Rangers, and is on a line with Panarin. He also centers the top power play unit for the Rangers. While the Rangers have been struggling mightily this season, they have recently been playing a bit better. These struggles are also why we are getting a discounted SOG prop for Trochek.

While Trochek has only hit his SOG prop in 51% of games this season he has been better on the road. He has a 65% hit rate in road games, where he averages 4.9 shot attempts. He’s also been picking it up a bit hitting in 7 of the last 10 games with a 5.1 shot attempt per game average. Very consistent numbers.

His matchup is really what puts this over the edge, and makes it an NHL best bet. Tonight he will be playing against the Utah Hockey Club. Utah are allowing the most shots against to centers over the last 10 games (12.10 SA/GP) and are allowing the 2nd most power play opportunities to opponents in the league. This all adds up to Trochek being in a fantastic spot with a BIG discount on his SOG prop.

3. Kent Johnson Point -120 on BetOnline:

Kent Johnson of the Columbus Blue Jackets is a point producer at home

Kent Johnson of the Columbus Blue Jackets is a point producer at home

The Columbus Blue Jackets have the best offense in the entire league when they play at home. They are averaging a whopping 4.19 goals for per game when they play at home this season. They have an even better match up tonight against the San Jose Sharks who are allowing the 2nd most goals against per game in the league. So let’s find some value on player points!

The top line for the Blue Jackets have been wildly productive lately. But unfortunately that means it is difficult to find much value on those players without including them in a parlay. So let’s pivot to 2nd line winger Kent Johnson. He plays on the top power play unit and has a point in 76% of ALL home games this season.

Now he is on a two game pointless streak, but what better way to snap it against a defensively poor Sharks team. Kent Johnson also has four points against the Sharks in his four career games against them. Add all this up and you got a sneaky good point prop at a discount making it an NHL best bet.
