1. Jason Robertson Point  +100 on BetOnline:

Jason Robertson is heating up making his point a best bet

Don’t look now but Jason Robertson has scored a goal in back 2 back games and recorded a point in 3 of 4 games in this series. It’s amazing what scoring a goal off of a long cold streak can do for your confidence. Especially when your main contribution to your team is being a goal scorer. We know Robertson is capable of scoring in bunches as evidenced why his 35 goal and 80 point season.
This is a must win game for the Dallas Stars and they will need their top goalscorer to stay hot to get them a Game 6. Robertson has a certain prowess when he is at home hitting a point in 60% of all home games this season. On top of that he has a point in 60% of the last 22 games against the Oilers.
Robertson’s potential resurgence has been rewarded by DeBoer who’s moved him up to the top line with Hintz and Rantanen. Now that Dallas is back on home ice, they’ll likely be able to get the matchups they want to exploit with that top line. We are getting an absolute steal of a price considering Rantanen’s point is sitting at -215! Getting his point at plus money makes it an NHL best bet tonight!

2. Connor McDavid + Ryan Nuggent-Hopkins Point -105 on BetOnline:

Can the Oilers beat the Stars and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals?

Connor McDavid and the Oilers look to end the Western Conference Finals tonight

A lone Connor McDavid point is nearly -450. So let’s find a way to snag it at a discount. And one of the best options is to staple his point to his linemate Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. This almost feels like cheating.

In the Dallas series, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been wildly productive. The center has a 2+ points in all four games played, with 9 points total. While not all of these have come while playing with McDavid, the forward has found plenty of success when he plays with the best player in the world. Nuggent-Hopkins is on a four game point streak and has at least one point in all but three playoff games.

Connor McDavid has a point in all but two playoff games this season. He leads the Oilers and the NHL with a whopping 24 points. He’s on his way to earning his 2nd Conn Smythe award for most valuable player in the playoffs. It feels pretty great to get these two linemates for a point at nearly plus money, making it an NHL best bet tonight.

3. Dallas Money Line -135 on BetOnline:

The Dallas Stars are pushed to a corner. They will be facing elimination at home against the Oilers in the Conference Finals for the 2nd season in a row. But tonight will not be the end. The Stars have only really looked outclassed in one game this series. And while I ultimately think the Oilers will put them away, I’m not willing to bet on that outcome tonight.

The Stars look like they are finding more chemistry with Jason Robertson becoming a threat again. For most of the playoffs he has not looked 100% healthy, but with back to back goals and playing on the top line with Rantanen and Hintz, the Stars once again have three dangerous forward lines. Rantanen has also been uncharacteristically cold. Pointless in three games, I expect him and the top line to bounce back.

Meanwhile the Oilers have gotten tremendous goaltending. But their netminder Stuart Skinner can often put up outright stinkers, like his performances in the Los Angeles Kings series, and game one against Dallas. After three outstanding performances he could be due to regress back to the mean. But outside of being at home, and a do-or-die situation the Oilers will also be dealing with injures. They will be without powerforward Zach Hyman tonight who has been hitting everything in sight. They also will have top defenseman Ekholm back. And while this addition will help them down the road, he may be knocking off rust tonight.

Give me the Dallas Stars tonight at a bargin at -135, another NHL best bet.
