1. Leo Carlsson Point -135 on BetOnline:

Will the Ducks top line center Leo Carlsson continue his dominance against the Bruins? His point prop looks like an NHL best bet.

Will the Ducks top line center Leo Carlsson continue his dominance against the Bruins?

Carlsson enters tonight driving the Ducks’ offense—he sits atop Anaheim’s scoring leaderboard with 7 points so far this season, and he’s doing it in prime usage. He’s centering the top line and runs PP1 with Troy Terry and Frank Vatrano, maximizing touch volume in both even-strength and power-play situations. Role matters even more against Boston’s structure. The Bruins’ penalty kill has been spotless out of the gate (perfect through their first games), but that early-season rate is historically fragile, and Carlsson’s PP exposure is exactly how Anaheim can crack it.

There’s also clear opponent history: Carlsson torched Boston twice last season—netting the OT winner in a 3–2 victory on Feb. 23 and scoring two goals (including a short-handed marker) in a 6–2 win on Mar. 27. That’s three goals across two meetings, strong signal that his skill set translates against this matchup.

With backup goaltender Korpisalo in net the Ducks offense could continue to role. They are now 11th in goals per game played while Boston is middle of the pack for goals allowed. If you want to spice this up you could add Carlsson’s linemate Cutter Gauthier point as well for some plus money value (+135), making both an NHL best bet tonight.

2. Brayden Point o2.5 SOG +100 on BetOnline:

Point loves ripping puck at home making his SOG a best bet

Point loves ripping puck at home

The Tampa Bay Lightning need a win like I need a frosty Coors Light right around 5pm. The Bolts have dropped three in a row and only have two wins this season. After that brutal roadtrip they will look to get things back on track tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks. Nothing like a big home spot from an underperforming team to get their top players going and Brayden Point’s SOG are VERY mispriced.

Yes, Point has missed this prop in all but two games this season. But he has always been much better at home, and tonight he gets an opponent he has dominated. The Blackhawks have allowed a high number of shots on goal (about 31.7 per game in recent sample) and give up ~2.7 goals per game when allowing that volume. That creates environment where Tampa’s shooters get opportunities. Meanwhile Tampa is facing a defence-vulnerable opponent, which makes it more likely Point gets at least 3 shots.

Point has hit his SOG prop in six straight games against Chicago, averaging 7.5 shot attempts in those games. That is a huge amount of volume. Just last match he had 7 SOG off of 10 shot attempts. This is a player who will commonly have his SOG prop priced around -160 when playing at home, where in the 24-25 NHL season he hist at a 50% rate and was closer to 60% in the 23-24 NHL season. This is an NHL best bet at a discount.

3. Clayton Keller + Nick Schmaltz Point +100 on BetOnline:

Utah captain Clayton Keller loves to rack up points against the Blues

Utah captain Clayton Keller loves to rack up points against the Blues

When you play against your hometown team you show up. And Clayton Keller has done that his entire career. In 32 career games he has 13 goals and 35 points against the St. Louis Blues, and the dominance should not end tonight. Both him and linemate Nick Schmaltz have been on fire. They have record 15 combined points over the last three games and will look to keep rolling tonight.

Keller and Schmaltz have operated on the same top line for some time, and play big minutes together, which amplifies the chance both get on the scoresheet. For example, Schmaltz has averaged about 1.43 points per game when playing with Keller this season. They’ve been performing at a high level lately. Keller’s recent logs include multi-point outings, and when paired with Schmaltz, the output tends to be elevated. For instance, Keller logged a goal and three assists in a game vs. St. Louis on Jan. 19, 2025.

The Blues have been leaky in the goals against department. They are allowing the 12th most goals against (3.33 GA/GP) despite a recent 2-1 loss against the Kings. Better yet, backup Hofer will be in net tonight. Hofer is 1-1-0 on the season allowing a brutal 5.00 GAA and .824 save percentage. The Mammoth will be looking to record their 5th win in a row and the Captain will want to be in on it, making this point stack an NHL best bet tonight.
