Boston came out with a big win in Florida Tuesday night. The Panthers were really looking to close the series out, but Boston hung around. Florida in unbeaten in Boston so far and they will look to continue that.
In a 2-1 victory, the Bruins struck 1st in the game. They had 28 shots on goal but were out played in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Boston’s defense really stepped up to hold the Panthers to only 1 goal.
Both goaltenders had great games. Bruins Jeremy Swayman had 28 saves and the Panthers Sergei Bobrovsky had 26 saves. Swayman allowed 1 goal and Bobrovsky allowed 2.
The Bruins will look to replicate Game 5 to keep their season alive. Going back home is huge for them as playoff games are insane at TD Garden. Their defense will have to shop up like last game for them to have a chance.
Can the Panthers get the job done and close the series out?

This Panthers team is built different. They are showing why they went to the Cup Finals last year. I love to watch this offense buzz around, especially on the power play.
Getting to Swayman will be their tough task. They have got to him already this season, so breaking down the Bruins defense is going to be key. Even if it ends up being a high scoring, close game – I think the Panthers come out on top.
Florida is not going to want to go back home and play another game. Both teams now know they will play the New York Rangers if they advance.
Bobrovsky has been awesome this series. He has it in him to pull out another solid performance. A lead will help him settle in even though he has shown he is comfortable playing in Boston.

It’s been a great series and a great season for Boston, but it all comes to end tonight. This Florida team is so good offensively and shown what a problem they can be.
I like for the Panthers to strike first and get an early goal. They have fought back from being behind, so now alarm sounding if they get behind. I think this team just wants it more and wants to end it instead of having to go back home.
The winner of this series is going to face the Rangers in the Conference Finals. The Panthers will be looking to go back to for the second year in a row and they want it.
Bobrovsky has been great this series and I expect him to be dialed in. He can be the difference maker of this game and the Panthers getting to Swayman, which they’ve shown they can do.
