Daniel Collins’ Week 2 NFL Best Bet

Can JSN pop in week 2 again?
Jaxon Smith-Njigba o64.5 Receiving Yards (-115) BetOnline
I quite simply don’t understand this line. Smith-Njigba was the most targeted Seahawk by a MILE last week, with 13 targets, that went for 9 catches and 124 yards.
The Steelers allowed the Jets #1 wide out, Garrett Wilson, to go crazy as well, racking up 7 catches and 94 yards.
The books haven’t caught up to JSN yet as a bonafide stud in Seattle and I want to capitalize. Love the Ladder to 100+ as well for +300.
Chef T’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Javonte Williams Anytime Touchdown (-115) BetOnline
Javonte Williams already scored 2 TDs last week, and Dallas is leaning on him at the goal line.
The Giants ranked bottom-5 in rushing Touchdowns allowed to RBs last season and gave up another in Week 1, making Williams the most likely finisher if the Cowboys get inside the 5.
Nate Hornung’s & Colby Marchio’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Denver Broncos ML (-120) BetOnline
NATE: Are we really buying the Daniel Jones hype after one week? Against the Miami Dolphins defense? I’m certainly not. The Colts looked great and now get another home game, but they are facing one of the best defenses in the league.
Denver didn’t look great against Tennessee on offense, but I trust Bo Nix and Sean Payton to figure things out. Defensively, they were rock solid, allowing just 133 total yards, holding the Titans to 2/14 (14.3%) on third down, and did not allow a single touchdown.
This should be a much lower scoring game, where I see Jones and the Colts’ offense coming back down to Earth against a defensive unit that will carry their team early in the season. Give me Denver to find a win on the road.
COLBY: Everyone’s already writing off Bo Nix after one rough Week 1 start, yet Daniel Jones is getting praised for carving up a Dolphins defense that does not exist. Make it make sense.
Now Jones faces one of the league’s better defenses, while I fully expect Nix to rise to the occasion on the road and lead the buckin’ Broncos to a win in Indianapolis.
John Hyslop’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Brenton Strange 4+ Receptions (+120) BetOnline
Every now and then, every man needs a little Strange. Not a lot, but at least a little. For us, our every now and then is right now. Lucky for us, Brenton Strange is playing the Cincinnati Bengals, who couldn’t cover a tight end if they were allowed to have 12 men on the field.
What’s even better is that the Bengals offense is going to score all over Jacksonville. Translation: Jacksonville is going to have to throw the ball way more than they want to in an effort to keep up. All roads point to Strange. Feels right.
Varun Sharma’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
CeeDee Lamb o80.5 Receiving Yards (-115) BetOnline
In games with Dak under center, against the Giants; CeeDee averages 98.6 receiving yards per game, 6.6 receptions per game on 9.0 targets, and he’s scored four total touchdowns.
In his last two games against New York, Lamb’s recorded 18 receptions on 22 targets, 249 total receiving yards and scored three touchdowns. Four of those games took place here in Dallas, where his numbers jump to 116.3 receiving yards per game and 7.3 receptions per game. The Giants gave up 176 yards to opposing wide receivers last week and ranked 18th in receiving yards allowed to wide receivers last year.
Brad Blakemore’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Ja’Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown (-135) BetOnline
Chase and the Bengals air raid was contained by the Cleveland Browns.
Now at their home opener, we got a battle of the cats as the Bengals host the Jacksonville Jaguars. This feels like a game that the Bengals will exploit a weak secondary and get their stars in the endzone.
Danny Burke’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Alvin Kamara o12.5 Rush Attempts (-113) BetOnline
The 49ers ranked 29th in rush EPA per play and 25th in rush success rate allowed last season. Through one game in 2025, they sit 14th and 29th in those categories.
With injuries leaving San Francisco vulnerable, this matchup sets up for New Orleans to lean on its star back, control the tempo, and keep things competitive – if not play from ahead.
Kate Constable’s & Sukh Brar’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Buccaneers +3 (-115) BetOnline
KATE: I like the Bucs to hang around and cover the +3 on Monday night. They struggled early against Atlanta, giving up big yardage, but still held the Falcons to just 20 points in a tight game. Todd Bowles’ defense may not be flawless, but it’s aggressive enough to take advantage of Houston’s leaky offensive line, which allowed three sacks in Week 1 and is already missing key pieces.
With C.J. Stroud likely facing more pressure and the Texans struggling to stay clean up front, Tampa Bay has a real shot to force mistakes and keep this game well within a field goal.
SUKH: Baker as an underdog? Gimme. The Texans completed only 22.2% of their third downs last week (31st) and put up just 9 points (31st). They also allowed the rams to convert 54.8% of their third downs. This team is struggling to execute and Baker could pick them apart.
Adam Kaufman’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Rams -5.5 (-108) BetOnline
We spent weeks hearing about Matthew Stafford’s 37-year-old back, wondering whether the Super Bowl champ would even play in Week 1. Turns out he looked just fine, guiding the Rams past the Texans in a tight opener.
On the other side, No. 1 pick Cam Ward showed some poise in his pro debut despite an ugly stat sheet (12-of-28, 112 yards, no scores, one fumble). Drops from his receivers didn’t help, but now the rookie faces a far tougher test against a swarming Rams front. That’s bad news for a Titans team that was outgained 317-133 last week while somehow still in the game thanks to Denver’s four turnovers.
No wonder the total plummeted from 45.5 to 41.5. Both teams played in low-scoring grinders to begin the season, but the Rams have the clearer path to points. They’re also 12-3 straight up under Sean McVay in early East Coast kickoffs, with nine wins by at least six points.
Tristan Vieira’s NFL Week 2 Best Bet
Chargers -3.5 (-105) BetOnline
This line is an over reaction to the Raiders hard fought win over the Patriots in week 1. Jim Harbough has the Chargers firing on all cylinders though and with a much more impressive performance in week 1, I feel safe laying points here.
I expect Chargers to dominate the defensive side of the football and pound the rock en route to a victory Monday night.
