The Titans are 0-4, Cam Ward’s been sacked a league leading 17 times and the defense is giving up 30.0 points per game. It’s getting ugly down in Music City and somethings got to change if the Titans hope to win even just a single game this year. Tennessee has the 30th ranked offensive line with two tackles in the top 15 for pressures allowed. The play callings been stale, the receivers can’t hand onto the ball and the run game is non-existent.
The Titans rank 32nd in points scored, 27th in redzone efficiency, 32nd in third down conversion rate, 32nd in passing yards per game and 29th in rushing yards per game. Defensively they rank 28th in points allowed, 28th in rush yards allowed, 29th in yards per play allowed and 29th in pressure rate. The defense has generated just four sacks this year and rank 30th in tackles for a loss.
Desert Birds
The Cardinals started the season with two back to back wins and now come into this game with the Titans off back to back losses. Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled this year, recording just 16 receptions for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He’s also got three drops on the year, one or two coming at crucial times over the last two weeks.
Arizona’s defense ranks sixth in points allowed this year, giving up just 18.5 points per game. They’ve now dropped back to back divisional games with both games being decided by just one score. The Cardinals defense has been great, it’s Kyler Murray and this Cardinals offense that’s struggling to do their part. Arizona ranks 22nd in points scored, 26th in first downs, 28th. in passing yards and 26th yards per play.
The Cardinals have had trouble making big plays and sustaining long drives; it’s why they rank 11th in time of possession but have lost back to back games. Their 19th ranked redzone efficiency hasn’t helped but this week they’ll face off with the Titans 28th ranked scoring defense.

Marvin Harrison Jr o50.5 Receiving Yards | BetOnline
Say what you want about Marvin Harrison Jr. but I still believe in the kid. He’s had a tough start to the year but he’s a 6’3 receiver with speed, athleticism and great hands; when he’s not in his own head. Last week we saw the best of him and the worst. Harrison saw 10 targets in Week 4, seven being catchable and caught six of them. The one drop was crucial however, leading to a Kyler Murray interception in Seattle territory.
Harrison finished the game with six catches for 66 yards and one touchdown. After he scored you could see the emotion on the second year wide receiver, taking a knee in the endzone and not looking to celebrate. The narrative around this kid has completely shifted and this week’s matchup against the Titans is the perfect time to send out a reminder.
Tennessee ranks 27th in receiving yards allowed to wide receivers this year, with 66% of that production being given up to receivers out wide. Over the last few weeks, they’ve been burned by opposing WR1s; allowing Nico to go for 79, Pittman for 73 and allowed Adams/Nacua to combine for 197 yards. Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is ranked in the bottom nine amongst all corners in coverage grade this year and is allowing 25.0 yards per reception and allowing a QBR of 114.4 when being targeted.
