The first installment of this year’s Sunday Night Football is back as the New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys in primetime.
These NFC East rivals are both looking to be back in the playoffs this year, and will hopefully win a playoff game like last season.
The focus is now, as Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott lead there squads on the quest for the Lombardi Trophy.

These teams are clearly familiar with each other, playing twice a year. The Cowboys have beaten the Giants on four straight occasions, and have won 11 of the L12 meetings.
With Daniel Jones under center, and a shimmer of hope last season, the Giants will look to pull of this upset at home.

Can Danny Dimes Upset Dak?
I have more confidence in Dak and the rest of the Cowboys than I do Daniel Jones and the Giants without Darren Waller.
Waller is expected to take a big share of targets from Jones, and be the primary guy in the redzone. They will have to do without him today, making me lean with the Cowboys even on the road.
The spread is sitting at a key football number, and personally I think the Cowboys win this one by a field goal.
I won’t be taking the spread or ML, although I lean with Dallas outright.
I will take a stab at the total and some player props.

There is plenty of talk on Prescott’s INTs this year, but in Week 1, I think Jones throws one to the Cowboys secondary.
Last season, Dallas was tied for 7th in the league, forcing almost 1 Interception per game (0.9). Jones has an interception in 3/7 games against Dallas, and he has alternated throwing one every other game.
He did not throw one last time against the Cowboys.
Jones has thrown 3 picks in 3 Week 1 games, and has an interception in 2 of those 3 games.
This Cowboys secondary is good, and I think Trevon Diggs could pick one from this Giants QB tonight.
