Daniel Collins’ (4-0) Week 5 NFL Best Bet

Will Justin Herbert’s favorite target have another big week?
Quentin Johnston o59.5 Receiving Yards (-115 BetOnline)
I love the Chargers this week to bounce back after dropping a disappointing game last week to the Giants. Instead of just taking the Bolts, give me the most targeted wide out to take advantage of this 27th ranked Commanders secondary.
Johnston’s drop issues seem to be a thing of the past and Justin Herbert is peppering QJ with targets.
After hitting this line every game so far to start the season, if it ain’t broke, ya know, don’t fix it.
Chef T’s (4-0) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can Sutton get loose in Philly?
Courtland Sutton o52.5 Receiving yards (-115 BetOnline)
Courtland Sutton is on the menu this week — Bo Nix has locked in on him as the clear WR1, and the Eagles’ corners have been serving up chunk plays like it’s happy hour.
If Philly jumps out early, Nix will be forced to keep slinging, and Sutton’s volume plus deep-shot role makes this yardage line way too light.
Nate Hornung’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Will the Vikings roll in London?
Vikings -3.5 (-105 BetOnline)
I am not scared of the hook here, Minnesota has all the advantages. They are coming off a loss in Dublin to Pittsburgh and stayed overseas this week, giving them none of the travel stress Cleveland is dealing with. Dillon Gabriel is making his first start for the Browns, and doing so in an international game against a tough defense will be a mountain to overcome.
Brian Flores is one of the sharpest defensive minds in the league, and I’m sure he will make the rookie’s life a nightmare on Sunday morning. I have faith in Carson Wentz finding his groove, and even though I imagine this being a low scoring game, I do not think Cleveland puts up many points on the board.
Colby Marchio’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can Justin Fields lean on his feet once again?
Justin Fields Longest Rush Over 14.5 (-112 BetOnline)
This feels like an autoplay for me every week. Fields continues to break off big runs and extend drives with his legs. We’ve seen the damage he can do in the open field, not just last week, but throughout his entire career.
The Cowboys defense is allowing 122 rushing yards per game this season. They’ve already faced some of the league’s best quarterbacks: Jalen Hurts rushed for 62 yards with a long of 15, and Jordan Love picked up 28 with a long of 25. Fields is even more elusive than both.
I’m playing both the rush yards and the longest rush, it’s been working.
John Hyslop’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can the young TE & the Jets cause the Cowboys problems?
Mason Taylor 4+ Receptions (+160 BetOnline)
We need to stop playing around and start winning, so that’s what we’ll do. Sure, we were on an incredible run up until last week when Javonte Williams couldn’t catch a fourth pass.. But in this business, we’re only as good as our last bet. Luckily, our bet this week has no chance of losing.
The Dallas Cowboys are going to legit motorboat the New York Jets on Sunday.
But here’s the thing: the Jets aren’t just going to take it. They’re going to try their asses off, and that means throwing the ball. We’ve already seen tight ends go off against Dallas, so we know Taylor can easily catch four passes. Feels easy.
Varun Sharma’s (3-1) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Will the St. Brown & the Lions feast on the Bengals?
Amon-Ra St. Brown o72.5 Receiving Yards (-115 BetOnline)
The Bengals defense is absolutely horrendous. Cincinnati’s giving up 29.8 points per game, 262.0 pass yards per game and rank 26th in yards allowed to wide receivers. Amon-ra is seeing a 27% target rate, averaging 6.8 receptions per game with 307 receiving yards and SIX touchdowns. St. Brown’s looked like the best wide receiver in the league so far this year and this week he’s going head to head with last year’s Triple Crown winner; Ja’Marr Chase.
Chase was drafted with the 5th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, St. Brown was drafted with the 112th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Eighteen wide receivers were taken before St. Brown in the 2021 NFL Draft and that’s not something he let’s anyone forget. With Chase being the first receiver taken in that draft, you’ve got to think St. Brown’s coming out with a little more in the tank.
Brad Blakemore’s (3-1) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can Ferguson and the Cowboys cook in MetLife?
Jake Ferguson 6+ receptions (-117 BetOnline)
It’s a giant cowboy hat, ha, it’s funny.
The mighty words of Turd Ferguson who is avg 8.5 receptions and is Dak’s favorite escape route when things get dicey. CeeDee is still out of the lineup which means Ferguson will get peppered.
Danny Burke’s (3-1) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Will the Vikings roll in London?
Vikings -3.5 (-105 BetOnline)
Minnesota has been overseas for the past couple of weeks, where favorites tend to thrive in general. Having a rookie quarterback make his first start there is a recipe for disaster.
Kate Constable’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Jordan Mason might struggle vs the Browns stout front
Jordan Mason U66.5 Rushing Yards (-111 BetOnline)
We’re going right back to fading whoever lines up against the Browns’ front, and this week it’s Jordan Mason. Cleveland owns the top run defense in football, giving up just 70.3 rushing yards per game while allowing only two rushing scores all season.
The lone back to clear his rushing prop against them was Jahmyr Gibbs, who broke loose for 91 yards last week. Even then, the Browns’ “pick your poison” approach worked—David Montgomery was bottled up for just 12 yards. On average, they’ve held Chase Brown, Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, and Montgomery under their rushing props by a massive 38.2 yards. That’s dominance.
With Aaron Jones out and the Vikings’ backfield depth already stretched thin, Cleveland can zero in on Mason, making the under 66.5 look like the right side.
Adam Kaufman’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Daniel Jones & the Colts should continue to roll
Colts -6.5 (-115 BetOnline)
Sure, Pete Carroll is historically excellent after losing as a favorite – and at preparing his west coast teams for early east coast kickoffs – but much of that success came at the helm of the perennially contending Seahawks.
The Raiders are built different, and not in a good way. Ashton Jeanty’s coming off a career game, but will next face a top-tier Colts rushing defense, so expect the rookie to be limited. And Geno Smith will be taking on a relatively aggressive defensive line that should pressure him into a mistake or two.
As for the Colts, they’re perfect at home (2-0) and matched up with a dreadful defense that Daniel Jones and Michael Pittman Jr should combine to thrash. Jonathan Taylor will be asked to gash a mediocre run-defense. Not a big ask for the Offensive Player of the Year candidate.
Only thing gives me pause: Jones is just 7-9 ATS as a favorite in his career, and he’s never been this big of a frontrunner.
Eh, those were the Giants days. This is a great time to bounce back from Indy’s first loss last week.
Tristan Vieira’s (4-0) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can the Saints snag Win #1 on Sunday?
Saints ML (-120 BetOnline)
This is by far the most suspect line on the board this Sunday and I will be all over it.
The Giants led by rookie Jaxon Dart are coming off a huge win over one of the best teams in the league in the Chargers. Yet, here they are as 2.5 point underdogs to one of the worse teams in the league…I’m not buying it.
Give me Kellen Moore to get his first win as a head coach at home.
Sukh Brar’s (2-2) NFL Week 5 Best Bet

Can Cade Cook in Seattle?
Cade Otton o2.5 Receptions (-115 BetOnline)
Seahawks have given up this line to starting tight ends in every game this season.
Trying to keep it simple. Let’s see.
